Because of my love/hate relationship with this place, Im going to be as thorough as possible. Ive been going here every so often for the past few years. My family kept it as sort of a special treat for my brother and I. Definitely good prices, but I went there for the first time in a year and things have changed. The portions are noticeably smaller; I no longer need to take half of my meal home. The sushi itself is mediocre. Also, the past few times Ive went (in the past 2 years), service has sucked. We seem to always get the same waiter who is very condescending and makes us feel like were asking dumb questions. It feels impersonal, like all we are now is just a profit. Another thing: this place is terribly small. On weekends and nights, it can be very crowded and the wait can be dreadful. I believe max capacity for the dining area is about 50-60 people and the sushi bar in back is 8. The reason we keep going back? The chicken. Its like... they only serve chicken breast, and they cut ALL the fat off. Instead of regular, thick teriyaki sauce, they use a lighter sauce that makes it light overall and delicious! If the portions and service ever go back to what it used to be, this place is definitely THE place to go!

Why is everybody up this places a**? They have the most average sushi I have ever tasted and their portions/prices are rediculous. I cant even go there for sushi, because I just leave unsatisfied. The spcy chix is good and tempura is good. And here is just and example of how they run their business. I order a Spicy chicken dinner that comes with a ca roll and tempura. The ca roll on the menue is $.50 less than the spicy tuna roll. but if I want a spcy tuna with the meal they charge me $2.50 extra! More money for a cheeper roll!? I dont know but that spells cheap to me....

Spent 53 dollars on a meal with horrible service. Teriyaki sauce was watery. Ordered spicy tuna roll and got tuna roll instead. Noticed a family walk in. They waited 10-15 min w/ out getting acknowledeged. They ended up walking out. Our waitress brought our drinks and never came back to take our food order. We were almost done with our drinks when we were getting ready to just leave some money on the table and walk out. Will not be back.

Great All you can eat Sushi spot in Glendora right next to spaghetti eddies. $24.99/person. The service was super nice and attentive. 4/5 stars because the ordering process was not very clear to us. 1st 2nd and 3rd columns and you choose what you want and when you want it to come out from the beginning. The food was fantastic we ordered different sushi and tempura rolls. Left stuffed. Definitely give this place a try :)

This place is really TWO places. The Japanese restaurant in front is not very good. Service is terrible, and the hot food is mediocre. If you order sushi, it sits too long before its served. However, if you go to the sushi bar in back (down the skinny hallway, half hidden), its a different experience altogether. The sushi is top notch, and the service excellent. This is the place for sushi.

Awesome place and great service, the servers are so nice and helpful, plus the food is amazing Im officially addicted to this place!! Hana Haru this place is one of the only 2 places in Los Angeles that sells Hana Haru!! For people that dont know what that is, its the best meat money can buy.

I absolutely adore this place. My family and I have been going for many, many years. The food is delicious, the device wonderful and the atmosphere is so cozy and intimate. Jane and her daughter wait on you and treat you as you should be treated-special ! Five plus stars in my book.

Ricky is the MAN. The ayce deal is the best around. Ricky is cool, sarcastic, a lot of fun, and one of the best sushi chefs Ive found. Tell him the mattress guy sent you and try what they call honchi...great stuff!

Love the food, decor, and service. Great classics like chicken and eggplant parmesan. Spaghetti and meatballs, and so much more. Definitely would rather come here than a chain restaurant like Olive Garden.

I had my birthday dinner there. their sushi make me feel no good after meal =(. I believe their fish is not fresh. I do not recommend this sushi restaurant.
