My husband and I just drove 30 minutes to get here, because it looked delicious! Google states that it closes at 10, their sign on their door says the same thing. However every light is off and the guy when we peaked in the door looked like he would be really angry if we tried to come in. If you close at a different time PLEASE be diligent with changing all your signs! Never tried the Baked Bear ... and now we will make sure we never do. Bad business!

Update: Man, I dont know what the deal is but each time we come here the gluten free cookie seems to be made by a different supplier. The original cookie was awesome, then they changed suppliers and it was awful. Then I called to tell them about it and they switched to something that was decent. Now its bad again. Bottom line: if you have a gluten allergy, dont bother with this place.

This place is good for most people. If you like cookies, they got it. If you like ice cream, they got it. If you like a cookie ice cream sandwich, they got it. If you like a weird cookie pie with ice cream and whipped cream on top, well... they got it. The only bad thing is that the ice cream cookie sandwiches are big for half of the people that come here.

their hours are off, I went today thinking it closes @ 9:30 because that is what is says on the Baked Bear website and I arrive to the store being closed and no hour sign up... rude and not the first time this has happened. also the prices have gone up and the hours have decreased once again rude and i dont appreciate it.

Came here first week they opened and it was great. Came back since and every time it gets better each time. I hear they are about to open one in Carmel Valley which could be dangerous as I live right down the street from the new Trader Joes center where it is going! Get the BEAR BOWL!!

Do not miss the chance to create your own custom made ice cream sandwich. This is a must stop while visiting the Fishermans wharf! Very friendly owner, These deliciously filling homemade cookies with yummy ice cream and great toppings in creative combinations, HIGHLY recommended!!

I love the desserts here! I used to live in the San Francisco Bay Area before where we had a place called Cream which was similar to Baked Bear but there isnt many around Southern California yet. Luckily theyve opened a similar place like that and it definitely is good!

This place is awesome! I have loved The Baked Bear ever since it opened in Pacific Beach and I am glad they have opened another location! The cookies are delicious and the ice cream is so good! Cant wait for more stores to open, hopefully in Northern California!

Its a neat idea, but I expected more. I wanted my taste buds to be wowed, but having had such great desserts, this place just turns out to be an ice cream parlor with a twist. Not bad, just not something i would be dying to go to.
