This company has the best guten free/allergen policy and menu I have ever seen in a chain restaurant. The very first time my husband and I came here it was right at the peak of evening dinning hours. We were seated within 5 minutes of asking for a table. The amount of seating at the camario location is decieving from the outside, there are so many tables, and there was plenty of space between tables for servers and customers. Very good floor layout. Next was the menu: Keep in mind I have a lot of allergies, gluten, dairy, red dye... etc. The server we had was above and beyond with her attention to details. We ordered our drinks and when they came out began to place our order, when she heard about my dye allergy she immediately asked that I hold off on drinking my pomegranate lemonade so she could make sure it didnt have any gluten or dye. (Good news: it didnt) She double checked on the soups that day which most servers would have just assumed based off the visible ingredients that they had no allergens (they did due to a flavoring sauce they used on the broth). She proceeded to alert me that the mashed sweet potatoes contained a dairy (cream cheese). This company has the most well advised servers I have ever encountered. Top notch training on alergens. I have had far too many close calls at other restaurants and too many nights sick and even some instances of multiple days suffering from an allergen that wasnt expected to be there by ill advised servers. I had not even one single concern about what I was eating at WoodRanch and it was a great quality of food and a filling amount to boot!

After a great afternoon shopping in the outlets, we were looking for a great place to have dinner. Saw this place across the freeway, so decided to give it a try. Was not disappointed. Started with a half-order of chips and guacamole, which turned out be a good call. The guacamole was simple, just avocado, lemon, and salt, but the portion size was huge! I cant imagine what we would have done had gone with a regular sized order. Our main dishes were the St. Louis Style Ribs with steamed broccoli and corn on the cob, and BBQ chicken with sweet potato fries and broccoli. This definitely hit the spot. The ribs were very meaty and perfectly spiced. The BBQ sauce on the chicken was also on point, and the sweet potato fries really brought it home. Some of the best Ive ever had. This is just a all-around solid place, and would definitely recommend you come here if you are in the mood for some BBQ.

Food is great but when they mess up on your bill it can ruin everything . On mothers days we in as 2 separate parties , paid separately but got charge way more than are actual bill a little more than double . Our bill was somehow switched and the next day woke up with less funds avail in the account . Yes it happens but we could of got a heads up about it and maybe prevent having unsufficent funds . the waiter took no consideration of what that could of caused us . The manager "Alona" apologized and said it happens, like wow how professional , yes mistakes happens but dont charge some ones card and then reimburse and charge again for the right amount without notifying them.

The service was prompt and very courteous. The food was overpriced and frankly horrible. I had the sweet potatoes, they were awful. I also had the brisket sandwich, which I quess I read wrong and is a hamburger...ok, folks, it was dry and tasteless...Ive had better burgers at McDonalds, and I dont like their burgers. There wasnt one person in our group that said they would go back. The chicken was dry, the tri tip sandwiches were super small, the onion appetizer was greasy... Ive never done this before, but for $100.00 I had hoped the food was a little better...

The restaurant is very pleasant and the service was excellent. This was my second trip here. On my first trip I ordered the Prime Rib and it was absolutely delicious, nice and tender and cooked to order. My top shelf margarita complemented it perfectly. With the excellent service from my first trip to Wood Ranch of course on my next trip to California I had to visit this place again. This time I opted for the Ribeye steak and it like the prime rib it was absolutely delicious, nice and tender, well marbled and flavorful. I absolutely love this place.

Being from the Lone Star state I am always interested when someone claims they serve "Texas" brisket. You my friends have failed, & I am insulted that you included Texas in the description of your "brisket". No smoke ring, no flavor, & if you have to offer sauce dont serve it. Serving only bottom cut tells me you know nothing about true BBQ. There is a difference between moist brisket, & the fat laden mush you served me. Please remove my great states name from your menu. You are amateurs in an arena you know nothing of.

First time eating there and it was not a good experience. The burger we ordered was medium rare when we ordered medium well. The brisket sandwich was so dry and tough. The Mac and cheese was so salty it was not edible. Beans tasted like canned beans with salsa dumped in. The fries were good. If i had had the time i would have taken it all back. Had i been served this in the restaurant Id have sent it all back and left. Needles to say i wont be going there again.

Sat at bar and I must say it was extremely clean with a very nice feel to it. The service was just okay nothing special that stood out in my mind. The food my friend was eating was a fabulous "Tri Tip" plate. I ordered a burger recommended by the bartender and it sucked. Nothing great about this burger pretty dry and a bit bland. But not the bartenders fault she obviously had a much different palate than mine. Will visit again and try other beef plates.

The free bread was amazing, with unlimited refills. Staff was very friendly and helpful, when we asked what sizes to get for 2 people if we wanted the tri-tip and baby back ribs she suggested we get a 3 choice bbq combo with another entree (we choose for roasted chicken). The tri-tip was good, the ribs and chicken especially so. And the amount ended up being perfect for a two person meal. Would definitely return, best BBQ weve had in a long time.

For years I've heard rave reviews about this restaurant. Finally decided to try it and left there asking: WHY? It wasn't all that it's been raved to be. Hubby's tri-tip sandwich was dry on stale bread. My ribs were just "ok" and the mashed potatoes were dry I did enjoy the garlic bread probaby because it was 'complimetary'. Other than that don't plan on going back.

Service was horrible surprising because we went when it wasnt busy. Their house brew is a duplicate of blue moon with a higher price. The BBQ sauce tasted like a store brand overloaded with ketchup. The meat was dry. If you go just eat the store bought bread and have a glass of water save yourself the money and cook it yourself. Not worth the higher price tag.
