Definitely a place to visit frequently! Right as you walk in the staff makes you feel at home greeting you very genuinely friendly and as if you are part of the family. The costumer service quality from everyone there is amazing and everyone very happy and friendly always checking to see if there is anything you need from refilling your water, or making sure your food came out as you liked. I like sitting towards the back where they have the ceiling painted as if you are looking up at the sky and the room decorations are very nice mexican style villa like Food selections are very large and wide from simple appetizers, chips and salsa which are absolutely great, Cheese Sticks, Shrimp cocktail, flautas and my favorite chile con queso. The albondiga soup is a good choice as well as the enchiladas and chile relleno. I have not had a chance to try the fajitas yet but from others that where with me who have tried them I hear they are delicious. You have to try the margaritas and flan dessert as well. one small thing to keep in mind is that parking can be difficult in that general area. Don Cuco makes for a wonderful experience and great service and quality food.

Great food and great service. We were staying in the Tangerine next door and dropped by for an evening meal. The food was delicious but we simply couldnt finish it because the portion sizes were huge. My wife had nachos as a starter which was more than enough for a main meal on its own. She had a decent stab at the lobster salad but couldnt finish it. The waiter offered to box it up which we did as we didnt want to waste food, especially when the salad was so good. Some places give you a load of lettuce with a few bits sprinkled on top but the lobster salad here had loads of lobster, egg, olives, beetroot and other things - it certainly wasnt being thrown away

I hadnt been to Don Cucos since I moved to Orange County in the late 80s. Its one of the only original places still doing business right there, so you KNOW its gotta be good! The place is decorated beautifully inside, and has a tiny outdoor patio for dining too. Its spotlessly clean, the wait staff is on the ball, extremely attentive and the drinks & food... FANTASTIC! Their salsa is to die for! If youre on your lunch hour, youll be in and out with time to spare, and totally satisfied! Highly recommend for anyone in, around or passing through the Toluca Lake/Burbank/North Hollywood area. Bravo Don Cuco!

overpriced, and not very tasty, we went here on the recommendation of the staff at the hotel next door where we were staying. We had basic main meal and starter, shrimp cocktail and jambolaya main meal each, 2 drinks each 2 of beer, (house) and it was nearly 98 dollars with the tax! This was the dearest meal we had the whole time we were on our 16 day roadtrip to california, and probably the worst! felt well and truly spanked on the first night!

The cabbed nachos are where its at!Do not,I repeat, do not be afraid of eating this meat just because it comes from the animals head. You will not regret putting these juicy, flavorful little meat chunks in your mouth. I think the burritos here actually are a notch above the title-holding "best burrito in America" at ca Equestrian, but to each their own. El Facilitator es yum Delicious!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! One of my favorite places to eat. Love the variety, price and pack of favors. I loved watching them on The Great Food Truck Race! My go-to items are always the sweet and spicy tacos. I have yet to come for brunch. I tried the ahi tuna tacos and wasnt impressed. The sauce used overpowered the delicate fish. It needs a sauce that highlights the fish not disguise it.

The service has always been great here. The food is not tasty at all!!! Ive been here many times before because it used to be a go to from where I worked with other employees but I was never happy with the flavor of the food. Im pretty sure most of the reviews are just excited because its a hot spot of activity. I just cant justify the taste of the food.

Its my favorite mexican place in LA. They have the best margaritas and service. The whole staff is super friendly, and the restaurant is very clean. My favorite menu item used to be the fish tacos, but since they changed the fish, its now the only thing I can find fault with. Change the fish tacos back, please!! Everything else is amazing though.

I had the mole enchiladas combination plate. It was acceptable but not exactly good, the mole sauce split and separated almost immediately. The chicken inside the enchiladas was well cooked, but the refried beans and rice were bland. The prices reflect the tuxedo shirt and bowtie clad servers, rather than the food quality.

This restaurant serves home-spun Mexican whose lack of boldness has clearly been placated by years of familial compliments. The rice was bland, the enchilada sauceless. It earned one star by serving the meal piping hot. The other slipped through my weak spot for a tasty albondigas soup.

Descent Food. Once you get to know the waiters they are fun and friendly. They do not make good margaritas. We focus on other drinks but are still a little disappointed about the margaritas. Fun atmosphere and a descent place to go.

A small but cozy neighborhood gem! Solid Mexican food, great service and awesome margaritas on the rocks! :) The only downer is there can be a wait at specific usual times but definitely a go to when in the Mexican mood! Enjoy!

I observed one of the employees cleaning and sanitizing their menu sheets they handle to their customers. That is very pleasant to see around when you sit and eat. Thats the first thing you touch with your hands.

I go here more often than I want to because a friend can walk there and get drunk on Margaritas... Every once in a while they nail the food, but its usually just average. A little overpriced for me overall.
