Okay, so....we had high hopes for this place, but woof. So first of all we are staying at the Radisson Suites Hotel, which is right across the street. We love the hotel and have stayed several times in the past and were excited to find that a new restaurant was open across the street and offered a late night menu. We arrive at 1:18, they close at 2. We are carded by security at the door. No one at the hostess stand. We seat ourselves at a hightop by the bar. Four minutes later a waitress comes over and starts her greeting with "you know our kitchen is closed right?!" Our response: "ummm okay, well now we do." She haphazardly hands us ONE menu that is missing a page of draft beers, goes to get another menu from the host stand then walks away. Mike comes over and asks us if we have been helped. Yay Mike. We mention that Hali had been by. Hali comes back about 5 minutes later and asks if another waitress had come over and proceeds to tell us that she "tried to pawn us off to another server, but she didnt come over, but its okay because Im making all the money!" "Umm..okay." We order a pitcher of Lagunitas IPA. She checks our IDs. (totally get it, but soooooo redundant. We let her know that Mr. Security JUST checked it at the door.) "One pitcher...two glasses!" "Yup" Three minutes later...Random Brunette comes over, asks us how we are, and attempts to take our order. I relay the entire story to her. The entire story: Hali is pawning us off, making all the money, etc. Then Random Brunette server brought the pitcher. Thanks Random Brunette! Time check: 1:35 Brand new pitcher of beer. 1:40 - Hali comes over to tell us that they are about to pull all the drinks in the restaurant at 1:50. So....in 10 minutes the two of us are supposed to CHUG a pitcher (2 pints each of an IPA!) Are we being punkd? "Yup" Okay, moral of the story: 1. Rock and Brews does not close at 2. They pull your drinks at 1:50. 2. The waitresses will pawn you off to other waitresses...just cause, but will still both wait on you. (Weird.) 3. We should NEVER have been served a pitcher 10 minutes before some unexplained rule was imposed on us. 4. Keep your IDs out because they will be checked routinely. 5. No one actually knows what time the kitchen closes. 6. Because customers were NOT fed and made to guzzle a pitcher of hoppy beer, they will unapologetically and passionately write reviews like this. 7. Woof. Hali, Random Brunette, and Mike...thank you for ruining our night. Rock n Brews...I hope you pull it together and figure it out.

Ill keep this one simple (as I can) for the sake of practicality and efficiency. 1. Great decore and just a step above every other theme restaurant / bar that tries to do the same. I really enjoyed looking at all of the old rock posters and talking to my party about the thoughts that came to mind on ones that stood out in our minds. Eg. The absolute ego oblivion in U2s Joshua Tree photoshoot and the time it represents that isnt now. 2. The open house feel was refreshing and needs to be done more in California. Eg. There is no doors, just big open empties that let through the air. 3. The service was with a smile that appeared to be almost genuine and that says a lot about the level of training these women must have to go through in order to work here. Eg. A hundred

1st time here. Atmosphere was amazing for you music fanatics. Staff saw that you were taking care of. Food was out of this world. Came for Happy Hour. Had the $2 sliders. The Burger tasted like it just came off the BBQ. The trip tip sandwich had a different twist to it, it worked. The Pico de Gallo and the garlic aloI along with the BBQ sauce made my tongue dance. Had to stay for dessert. Key lime pie and purple rain drops. Key lime pie had enough graham cracker crust and toasted coconut with a light lime taste. The purple rain drops were huge; as big as my fist, lightly fried and filled with dark chocolate. Drizzled with raspberry sauce and powdered sugar and fresh whipped cream. Looking forward to to bringing family next visit.

Ordered a chicken sandwich that was supposed to come with a cheese spread. I asked if I could get it without cheese, waitress said yes, got my food, sure enough, it had the cheese on it. No big deal, sent it back, the waitress was super cool about it. Get a sandwich a minute later (same one) with the spread just scrapped off. It was fried chicken, so the spread was in all the breading and little spaces etc. Now Im not saying their food isnt good, or that youll have a similar experience, but for the prices that theyre charging, I expect way better service coming from the back. I want to point out though that the wait staff was good and willing to try and fix the situation, but coming from the back I didnt trust them

Ok.let me first say that Kelly our server was amazing. We had a hiccup with her replacement while she went on break. Carlos the manager came over without us asking for the manager and amazed me. These two turned what could have been possibly a bad first experience into a positive "I will be back" moment. Whomever is in charge look at these two as a reference next time you hire. As an ex.bartender of 7 years and now a small business owner myself I know these two has what it takes. Now onto the drinks... Cold and tasty. Wings were the best ive tasted in a while. However, blue cheese dressing was a little runny. I had to add blue cheese crumbles to get the right consistency. iHonest eater!

Visiting SoCal for a work trip. Sat at the bar right at 6:00 after two large parties were sat. Bar staff handled the rush in stride all while keeping their own patrons happy. John greeted me right away and dropped a menu. Ordered the White IPA and the Blue Cheese and bacon burger. Beer was a lighter IPA but still had the back-end bite expected. The burger was huge, and it took several bites just to get to the meat. I ordered medium, came out closer to mid-well but still had a great flavor. Huge doors offer an outdoor feel, even at the bar. Plenty of televisions playing rock videos and sports. Seems like a good place to have a beer after work with co-workers.

I have been looking for a place that plays metal music with beer and found it. I had treated my dept staff to lunch here and they liked it. 4 out of 5 personnel a fan of rock bands thought it was great rock atmosphere and the decor of classic to hard rock bands was great. My one off staff still liked it. Every tv screen was showing the rock video to the music it was playing, this was during the week at lunch time. I loved it. I am a die hard rock fan. I am sure there is sports on the screens on the weekends and why not with a large selection of beer and spirits. I will go again for the music and brew on an off sports day.

Rock and Brews is one of my go to places for great food and drinks. The atmosphere is amazing. They have televisions all over the place playing rock music videos. Posters and flags of rock bands fill the restaurant. On the back patio they have cornhole and volleyball in a large sand pit. They also have a kids play area with a television playing childrens programs. The only issue Ive ever had here is they dont always have all the beers listed on their menus, so be sure to pick a few options before you order! I will continue coming here for the great food and drinks for a long time.
