My bf and I were on our way to Taps after an Angels game in mid July, when we spotted this new restaurant. We were not familiar with the chain and were worried it was a typical sports bar/restaurant but decided to stay after viewing the 2nd floor. We had a beer and habanero and bbq wings. We enjoyed the roof top atmosphere, food and drinks were good and our server who was also the bartender at the time, was quite knowledgeable and friendly. It was a Sunday afternoon, the downstairs was almost empty while the upstairs was thriving but not packed. I can tell they had recently opened because the host and servers were still getting used to the flow of the place. Ive managed numerous restaurants and opened several from the ground up so I know getting the staff and kitchen all dialed in, in a few weeks is not an easy feat. That being said I will be posting again after this Sunday as it will be our 2nd visit and this time with a very large party for my bf birthday, hope it all goes well. I am a little concerned as I originally called 3 weeks ago and made a reservation for our large party and was told no problem yet today when I called to confirm they had no reservation or any of my contact info in their books, although disappointed I hope they can pull it off. The supervisor/manager on duty Daniel, politely informed me that just recently they had decided not to take reservations but would honor mine. He said the GM Vivian (sp?) would call me today and work with me. I sincerely hope we can work it out as I have guests from LA & OC set to be there. The successful execution of large parties is always a true testament to the strength of a staff under management.

Ive been to this location 3 times. The first 2 times were great. This 3rd time left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended). I came for the Lawler-Condit UFC event and of course, its going to be packed. They must have been short staffed because we only saw about 3 waiters running around. It took them a little over an hour to get our food and then they didnt even bring the buffalo mac n cheese we had ordered. I asked for it and they took another 30 mins only to get a small side order, stating they had run out of mac & cheese. My BIGGEST problem was that during the time we were waiting, our server would pass by us and completely ignore us. We would have been perfectly fine waiting if there ad been more communication. Another problem I had was that the manager told the people at the table next to us that the food was taking a long time because they were going to be there for a few hours. He later came to us and I told him that it had been an hour since we had ordered and still had no word on when the food was coming. He told me, "Well, theres a lot of people here but let me check how its going." He never came back to our table. The food arrived about 10 minutes later. Its better to be honest than to blame it on an event where theres a lot of people. My 2nd time here was for another UFC event and the food came in a timely manner. This is probably the worst experience Ive had at a BWW and I used to claim this as one of the best ones Ive been to. Ill more than likely come again, because they do have the best price for these UFC events.

As with all BWW locations, consistent menu and lots of TVs for watching whatever game you want to see. Our family has been to several BWW locations around the country and generally have a decent or better experience. In all my previous visits to this location, however, the service has been poor. At first we chalked it up to one of those things and figured it might be a fluke but subsequent visits had the same poor service. But we still come back because the kids like their wings and its one of the few places in the area to catch all NFL games. On our most recent visit Im happy to say we noticed a big improvement in service. Manager and server were friendly and attentive. My big complaint at this location is the scam they pull EVERY time we come - kids meals include a drink in the price. And every time they add a couple of soft drinks on to the bill (at $3.29 a pop). They take it off without hesitation when I point it out ("Oh, gosh, sorry - I forgot to take that off after you ordered") but its kind of obvious that its part of their regular way of doing business here when it happens EVERY time we come, regardless of who the server is. So in summary, decent location with consistent BWW food, lots of well placed TVs with good views from every seat. Service that had been poor but seems to be improving. Just be sure to scrutinize your bill before handing over your credit card, particularly if you have kids in your party.

A friend and I went to this Brea location on a Sunday evening. The down stairs was closed, so we were directed to the 2nd floor. After getting off the extremely slow moving, humid stagnant elevator, we seating ourselves. The atmosphere was and ambiance of the setting was inviting. My male friend went to the restroom. When he returned, he had a disgusting look on his face. I asked him what was wrong, he told me hed never seen such a dirty bathroom in his life. The floor covered in toilet paper with the stench of old urine in the air. We then grabbed a menu from the menu bucket on the table. Not only were they sticky on the outside, but there was print missing from the inside of the menu stuck to the pages opposite of it. Both in the agreement NOT to eat there, we bypassed the slow elevator taking the greasy, sticky emergency stairs down to the 1st floor. Finding ourselves by the kitchen door, one of the chefs were nice enough to let us walk through to get to the front exit. The dirty kitchen had large puddles of (what I assume to be) water throughout the slippery floor which lead us to the front exit. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone but a HEALTH INSPECTOR!

Worst customer service ever !! Went upstairs and Every table I find was dirty waited 20 min for someone to come clear the table .... I could only see 2 -3 workers.... Crazy cause this place was NOT packed ! I looked left and right and everyone had no food people even on their second and third refills. A couple showed up right when I showed up it has been 1 hour and I just received my drink I ordered 40 minutes ago ! the couple next to me has not yet been asked what they want to drink and to top it off our server" penny" thats her name !!! has friends over and is treating them really good already took their order and has not came to take ours or the couple waiting .... Everyone is complaining to the African American manager around 35 years old wearing a black shirt and all he does is walk away and laugh ..... Worst service ever I have experienced... People are getting frustrated the guy across me had his order messed up 3 times since he got here !!!! Would rate a 0 star if I could ! Will never be coming back and will spread the word about this place so no one that I know experiences this !
