Ive been here a handful of times and Ill say each experience has diminished in quality. Early on I cut them some slack because the food was good and the beer selection fair. Just this week I returned to find that theyve switched to diner style fries and deviated away from actual frites, without adjusting the price. So head over to Dennys and get the same quality fries for half the price. The sausages are still good, and the toppings are great. But if were talking price, theres a similar establishment in Santa Ana that does a better job and charges less. In terms of the ambiance, this is got to be one of the most put together restaurants in Fullerton. Indoor seating is cafeteria style, with long tables and plenty room to spread out. The bar in the back makes it easy to avoid having to get back in line to order another beer. Outdoor seating is shared with Dripp and is quite nice if you can put up with the road noise. The staff here hasnt been overly impressive. There are a few people who are cordial/friendly and the rest tend to be neutral. Its not what would draw me back. Overall this isnt a place I would choose to spend my money, considering there are places with better service, better food, and at a lower price.

Good food and good beer. College age staff is a little inept. I go to a lot of German restaurants and events and I bring own stein everywhere. Ive never had such a hard time trying to get the staff to serve me beer in my own stein. They made me watch them poor a bottle of beer into a glass then they handed me the glass and made me pour the beer from the glass into the stein. They wouldnt fill my stein from a bottle or the tap, what a hassle.

There fries are absolutely amazing! The staff is super friendly and almost family-like. Really nice. I had the Hungarian sausage with grilled onions and sauerkraut. The grilled onions were really more of a true carmelized onion -slowcooked, soft and sweet - just like my grandma makes in her cast iron skillet. Very good! I will definitely be coming again and getting the exact same thing!

The staff and the food here are great. While the food may be extensive, you certainly will get what you paid for. Ive gotten three alligator sausage and the mountain man and have been talk satisfied with both. The Gallic fries are also good ~ especially if you are sharing with some one else!

Been here a few times and the food is good. Their fries compete too much with their dipping sauces. They have vegan options which is great but a little out of place when their main dishes are wursts and beer. A bit expensive for what you get but a good place to try at least once or twice.

This place is incredible!!!!! Amazing beer and great food. The specials are definitely worth checking out when the chef gets creative. The courtyard has great ambiance and is a great location. There is also so much variety with creative flavors. I definitely would recommend it!!!

+1 for beer selection and outdoor seating. Decent sausages but not great. Sorry, but this place is just trying too hard. Ive been to many similar places and they have much more personality. This place is missing some sort of personality that makes me want to return.

I love the selection of beers here most of which are imports. The outdoor seating area is open and comfortable, but can get crowded at times. The food here is good, but nothing to brag about, I would mainly come here for the beer and atmosphere.

Great German/Belgium beers selection. The Brats were awesome. My favorite was the Duck/bacon with garlic truffle fries. Need to try the HUGE pretzel next time. And if your still not full from the food , feast on all the amazing decor!

I love beer and brat places - but since this is a novelty, people are willing to pay the price for it. Their beer on tap selection is disappointingly small for the space. Location is definitely a hot spot.
