Wow...we looked at yelp, trip advisor and zagats once we checked into our rental in Bodega Bay, and thought Duck Club sounded fine, but not 100%. BOY, these OLD reviews are all out of date and the new chef is AWESOME. We will be logging into our various accounts to give this the 5 star yelp and high scores it deserves! We had exceptional flavors and crafting of our meal -- lovely cheese selection (local cow, sheep and goat), great beet salad with 2 types of goat cheeses and layers of flavors, great tombo tuna and duck entrees (the white chocolate and cinnamon foam on the duck is incredibly creative and compliments the savory flavors very well). Great homemade sorbets to close - the pistachio and the butternut squash were particular faves. I hope the chef (who has experience in Michelin star restaurants and is also connected to local grape growers) gets proper praise for all the changes he is making! Cheers.

I wish I had taken pictures! I had a table by the window and the view was just gorgeous. My food was excellent. I had a spinach and kale chicken cesaer salad that was truly delicious. I decided to indulge and ordered the chocolate cake. My slice was enormous and heavenly! After dinner I sat at the outdoor fire pit under one of the blankets provided by the hotel. What a lovely setting! I will definitely come back for more!

Wow! What a great place; view and food were excellent. Limited menu but everything from the pork chops, sole, salads, and Jeffs mothers chocolate cake were excellent. Also had wonderful brunch there next morning. James Beard French Toast was yummy.

This is, hands down, the classiest place to eat in Bodega Bay. The food was top notch, especially the fantastic desserts, and the ambience was refined and relaxed. A great place to sit and watch the sun set over the bay.

Delicious crab omelette with potatoes and sourdough toast for breakfast. Unfortunately the capacino machine broke just as our order was placed... no worries, the coffee was good.

Gluten free bread for breakfast/dinner. The Rancho Bodega omelet was yummy! For dinner, the artisan cheese plate was a great appetizer. Highly recommended!

Wonderful duck, great waiter, beautiful views, good wine. Beer selection is average at best, but thats fine for this kind of venue.

This food is the worst, i felt like I was at a senior citizen buffet and its immensely overpriced for the quality of food.

Great location for scenic view at sunset, nice atmosphere and pleasant staff. But the food was surprisingly bland.
