I have just had one of the worst dining experiences of my life, and actually created an account to warn other people about this place. Jade China do not take special instructions seriously and are not vegetarian / vegan friendly. We ordered two orders of egg rolls. One of the orders was specifically for vegetarian egg rolls, yet we received one box containing all of them. We assumed this meant that all egg rolls were meat free. This was -not- the case as they contained minced meat (I assume pork or chicken). The exact contents of the rolls is not specified anywhere on their menu, so I assume they use whatever they have laying around. Beyond this the food was barely warm when received, and the massive quantity does not make up for the terrible quality. Quite possibly the worst chinese food I have ever eaten.

I went here for take-out lunch the other day. The kitchen appeared dirty and unsanitary. The floor was covered with greasy cardboard boxes and there was a lot of dust on things. The dining area is just four tables in a room with bare walls. The chicken and the beef were big, flat pieces of stretchy, sticky meat. The broccoli pieces were way too big. The noodles were also kinda gross and the sauce didnt help. The pork fried rice was ok but my Soy Sauce packet was from 2002. Its 2013! I got a lot of food for the price, but I disliked it so much I didnt even eat most of it. To top it all off, the area featured a woman selling pirated DVDs on the sidewalk and homeless man shuffling around. Interesting, but I would never go here again.

Well, to summarize Jade China is an experience. With the facade of a fast food Chinese restaurant on the outside but inside... allow me to tell you while you embrace an open mind. Its delicious. Its fresh(made to order). Its the best Chinese food I have had(I have eaten probably like 23+ different places and this I enjoy most). Get their Wor Wonton soup. Get their honey walnut shrimp. Get their sweet and sour pork (get sauce on the side so their fry stays crisp). Staff are awesome, order ahead, always get it to go. Always eat food in your bed while burritod in your blanket with some sort of documentary on Netflix. Always take care of yourself to achieve whatever you are seeking. Jade china is your go to take out experience in San Jose.

Im not from the area, so I came here because of the high reviews from everyone else. Honestly, I feel betrayed. I got chicken and broccoli and won ton soup. The "chicken" was fatty and chewy. The broccoli was huge pieces and undercooked, which made it impossible to eat with the plastic fork they provided. I had to eat the broccoli with my fingers. The wonton soup was so full of broth that I burned my fingers trying to open it. The actual won tons tasted fine, but it was hard to find them through the layer of cabbage or whatever was in there. The icing on the cake was the long hair in my soup. What a waste of $14. I will not be returning.

The food was fine, until one time, when I found a bug inside of our order of deep fried chicken one time (dont remember the exact dish). The restaurant itself is not the cleanest looking, we always ordered take out because it never looked like the most pleasant place to eat. Recommend avoiding, maybe unless you have a tough stomach. Read their lengthy list of health department violations on the Santa Clara Inspections website and search by name, its a long list.

I use to work very close to Jade China and my coworkers and I would eat here at least once a week. The lunch specials are great and youll have engough food for the next day. Love the sweet n sour pork! I would pick up lunch so often for the group that they new my voice when I would call in to order. My family and I go to Jade for their catering trays...as a matter of fact I am have a baby shower this weekend and will order food from Jade China.

This place has the best Chinese food in San Jose! The specials are priced right and served with enough food to make even the hungriest man leave satisfied. Do yourself a favor and call in your order. Used to getting 2 pieces of beef in your order of broccoli beef? Not at Jade China, it should be called beef with broccoli. Best value, best taste, great service. I wish there was a Jade China where I live now.

Excellent customer service. Last night I placed an order and then went shopping not realizing they closed at 9pm. They waited over 20 mins past closing for me. I showed up at 9:30! I called today just on the chance they saved it. They did not, but to my delight they cooked up my order again at no charge! I ordered 4 entrees too. They give large portions. I like their fried rice and chow mein.

Best Chinese take-out for any occasion. They make almost any dish here and they take Yelp online orders. As with all places, some dishes are better than others. We like the Crispy fish with garlic sauce. Takes about 15 mins to finish order from the start. This is our go to place for those late nights coming back from work.

Its all true. This is the place :-) Honestly, since Ive been here, Ive never been to another Chinese take-out place. Best "Americanized" Chinese style food with huge potions and a great price. You can not beat it. Make sure you call in advance for a pickup otherwise youll be waiting for a very long time.

As a person born and raised in mainland China, I can tell you this place is absolutely NOT authentic Chinese food. Plus, food here is very greasy. Good things are that food comes in large portions and is cheap. If you are very hungry, this place can be an acceptable option. Otherwise, dont go.

This place is just awesome. Food is flavorful, well cooked and well priced. The one thing that really stood out was the service, as I was packing my left over food to leave, the owner reached out to me with a carrier bag before I even asked him. This is why this place has such awesome reviews.

Extremely good Chinese comfort food. Nothing gormet or dressed up here, but it never tries to be and doesnt have to. The food stands on its own and they dont drown it in sauce or commit other typical mistakes of Chineae takeout. Its great food at a really affordable price point.

3 item combos always had filled me up here or the other location on monterey rd. Both places taste as good as the other so dont worry bout which you go to. Chicken chow mein is good here too from what my aunt told me. But I stick with my combo. 1 my favorite chinese places to go.

Been going to this place since I was young back in the 90s. They give big portions and theyre made to order. Well mostly made to order. They have most stuff cooked like the meats and such and finish it up by stir frying and whatnot. Anyways their mushu pork is to die for!
