I have a lot of bad habits, but this Habit I dont want to break. Free charburger coupon The Habit makes one hell of a burger. So good, it might possibly be better than the long revered SoCal institution, In N Out. Being in the area for a dinner meetup later, I stopped by this location for lunch. Even though it was raining, The Habit still remained busy, with a line 6 deep & all the indoor seating taken up. The line moved quickly, however, and I soon redeemed my coupon. Lucky for me, I managed to claim a table just as the party was leaving. Charburger w/ cheese & raw onions substituted for the caramelized onions, lettuce-wrapped- Oh, yeah! A good, hefty burger, the charburger was thick, juicy & extremely delicious. I prefer the crunch of raw onions, the reason why I asked for the substitution over caramelized onions. The tomato slices were plump, the lettuce crisp & the cheese ooey gooey. The addition of Cholula helped kick the heat quotient, along with snacking on some of the peppers from the condiment bar. Service was good. The cashiers sped thing along, the one helping me letting me know cheese is included with the coupon. A fair amount of indoor seating, with tables al fresco. Parking is in a private lot at the Alhambra Place plaza. The Habit is located on the left Sprouts, to the right of Wingstop & Blaze. The Habit delivers in the burger department, and Ive enjoyed their fish sandwich & onion rings at other locations. I dont care for the typical fast food burger joints, however, The Habit tops them all. Even, dare I say, In N Out? The Habit caters to the health conscious & not so health conscious, and I think the menu harbors no stinkers in the taste department. Would I come back? Fo sho! Highly recommend! Food: 4.5/5 stars The double cheese charred burger looked on the smaller side until you bite into it and realized it was substantially thicker with meat patties. I was expecting the charbroiled flavor but it was just grilled flavor. Not bad but not what was expected. The meat was not as flavorful as InO but was juicy. The cheese was salty and the overall taste was on the salty side. The fries was nice and crunchy on the outside and soft inside, perfectly cooked. It looked overly oily though. Those who dont like InO soft fries will love the golden crunchy fries here. I gave it an extra boost in rating due to the condiments bar and drink bar. There were 4 different pickled peppers to choose from and they had good flavors. Those who dont drink soda will find something to like here with 3 different flavors of tea and a freshly made strawberry limenade. It was excellent. Atmosphere: 5/5 stars Nice clean modern decorated. Comfortable booth seatings and a large "commune" table in the middle. The open kitchen was spotless. The drink and condiments area was well stocked and clean. It felt quieter than other busy fast food place because they dont yell out order. Theres a buzzing paging system for you to pick up food when its ready. Service: 3.5/5 stars All the employees were busy body to assemble your orders quickly. They were not rude or unhappy like many places. I cant give a higher rating since this is a self serve place. Expense: 3.5/5 stars Its more expensive than InO which is my benchmark. Some will argue that it is worth it and maybe it is. Return: 4/5 stars Definitely when I want a clean tasting no non sense burger.

I love the Habit in Burbank and Pasadena, so I thought I would try iffy Alhambra. I placed my order. Simple. A charburger, no onion, no cheese, no pepper. I live 15 min away. Drove home sat down to eat the burger hungry & tired. THERE WAS ONIONS, PEPPER and there NO dressing, lettuce, pickles or tomatoes. WTH. Wrong! And I called the Alhambra phone number, its a call center! She was not at the location. She wanted me to drive back aftwr an 8. hour day, market shopping and still no dinner. No. I wont be back. The order taker who took the order read it back twice to me and reminded her, the counter person said no pepper right? when I picked up my order. Yes I said. And they still screwed up this simple order. I can not eat pepper at all. Waste of my time, energy and money. I am not happy and still hungry!

Came during a huge lunch rush on a Tuesday. I used to live in Santa Barbara and I went to the Habit there fairly often so I had high hopes for this one. The staff was very friendly. I ordered the teriyaki char with cheese with a side of fries. The burger was great. I always order the same thing at different location for a quality test. Most other places always give me a soggy burger when I order the teriyaki char. This one came out great and I was pleased. Fries were good as usual. My coworker and I tried dining in but it was a huge struggle. It was very busy. The Habit in Santa Barbara doesnt have a dine in option. They usually have a few benches outside and thats about it. This location is definitely fancier than the original.

Good burgers, it gets busy, not enough seating. If youre going to modify your order, dont order online, call it in our order there or they will most likely not get it right (even though the ticket obviously has your order right). They wont start your online order until 5 minutes before pick up time, and they wait until you get there to make sides, but its still faster than ordering there when its busy. Sometimes even when Ive ordered in person they mess it up (like asking for sauce on the side or no sauce on a sandwich and they put in in anyway, or asking for steak well done and it comes rare anyway...) Besides all that they have good food at good prices.

I came her frequently with my family and enjoyed it to the fullest, until a cashier, not pointing names, put my mushroom char burger with no mushrooms and I CLEARLY did not say with no mushrooms and to top it off, I said with no pickles and "she" and my burger had pickles. Also, I asked for a order of two fries and I got one. I did not complain because I didnt want to start a hassle. But I still enjoy the burgers and will come again.

Price was a little more expensive than other places BUT the size of the burger was pretty worth it. The lines go by quick but the place itself is small and cramped. There are outdoor seating but most people wouldnt take it because of the weather. Good food, just super tight space !

The Santa Barbara native has been expanding into new territory including several locations in Los Angeles and vicinity. The burgers are good and rather filling so ordering smaller than youd think is a good idea. The strawberry lemonade is also rather good

Friendly servers that always seem to get your custom order right. Generally pretty clean, but they can be a little slow wiping tables down. Tough to get indoor seating during lunch and dinner hours. Food is just like all the other Habit Burgers.
