I had gone to Fujis many times and the food had always been great. Tonight me and my wife went out to eat at Fujis and it was the worst experience I have ever had at a Hibachi Grill. I ordered the filet mignon, chicken and Shrimp. My wife ordered the Filet mignon and Shrimp. I always watch close when they bring out the food because a lot of people order steak. This night most people ordered steak, one guy ordered like a steak stir-fry or something. When the cook put the food down he put the Stir-fry to one side, then flopped Filet Mignon and Sirloin Steak all in the same pile, Cut them all up into small pieces and mixed them together, he acted as if he was in a hurry. When the food was all cooked, he mixed the group a few times and then handed some to everyone on the table, Of course me and my wife were the last to get server. I got 100% Sirloin steak and my wife got a mix of Sirloin and Filet Mignon. My wife even tasted it and she noticed right away it was Sirloin and not Mignon. So I waited and quietly told the waitress that I did not get the food I ordered. She said oh, and walked over to the cook that was now at another table, then came back and said no he gave you the Mignon. I told her look at what is on my plate, and look at the few pieces of Mignon my wife got. She said oh ok and walked off and went and got the cook. He came over and told me to my face that it was mignon, My wife even looked at him and said no it isn’t, this is Mignon, and he looked at them both then proceeded to tell me I didn’t know what I was talking about. Then I proceeded to tell him I come in to Fuji’s about every other month or so and order the same thing, I know what the hell Filet Mignon looks and tastes like at Fuji’s. To my surprise the Cook acted like a 2 year old and tossed his hands up and walked off. The waitress was nice and went to the manager, guess what he gave us 1$ off our meal. IT’S FREAKING 6+ BUCKS MORE PER PLATE FOR FILET MIGNON!!!!!! This was on 11/25/2013 around 6pm CST. And me and my wife said we will NEVER eat at Fuji’s again, and I suggest that if you want good Hibachi food, please check the other places in town.

Save your money. Go to Smile Bull where youll get better quality food at half the price. My wife and I anticipated eating here after hearing all the positive things. When we finally made it out, we had to wait for seating when we could plainly see several empty tables. The waitservice was quick, attentive and friendly. But the food, however, was very sub-par. My wife had shrimp fried rice which was found to be very oily and having very few shrimp. The tempura sushi roll was just "okay." the Fuji appetizer plate was lackluster. Spring rolls were thick and undercooked. Dumplings were burnt. The tempura was great and the cream rolls were okay. My sushi meal came on fire, which was eye catching and impressive. Then I opened the foil to find a sauce drenched roll that I could not discern the taste of the different ingredients unless I wiped the sauce off of it. All in all, for 50 bucks, Id say pocket it and find somewhere else to eat and avoid the hype.

If I rated them last year I would have gave them 5 stars! I ate there last weekend & I never mined paying $60+ to eat there because I loved the good & the entertaining chefs... but the chef this time wasnt entertaining & his cooking skills wasnt very good. The food wasnt as good as it was in the past. And also you no longer receive soup & salad with your meal, you have to pick between the two! Which neither are expensive items to make the salad contains lettuce only, and the soup is only broth w/ a mushroom floating in it. The fried rice use to have peas, onion & eggs in it, now it only has egg. You also got 2 different condiments, now you only get one. So for a pricey Hibichi Meal they have taken away a lot! And I probably wont be paying that much money to be disipointed again. Especially when theres a new Hibichi Restaurant being built on Towson Ave. I think Fujis may be seeing the end of their restaurant soon.

The salad was great, the miso soup was very salty, fried rice made with mustard sauce rather than soy sauce and we did not really like it that much. They had a brown sauce that was thick to cook the steak and vegitables with rather than soy sauce, the sushi yellow fin tuna was VERY fishy smelling...Did not eat it and no one noticed or asked if we liked it. They assumed you liked the sweet yum yum sauce which we do not. Had to ask for mustard and ginger sauce. The shrimp was not good quality, did not eat it but they cooked it using the yum yum sauce. Not a good idea. The filet was good quality and cooked medium rare as we asked but ruined by the heavy sauces. I would recommend that they quit relying so much on the sauces to cover up their food taste. I would also suggest that they get a professional chef to come in and train their Cooks. I am from the Dallas-Fort Worth area and I love hibachi food done correctly.

Everything else was terrible. Though most of the restaurant appeared to be empty, we were seated in what must be the childrens area. They played the Happy Birthday song back to back several times over the speakers. The waitress did not want to bring what my friend ordered (shrimp) because, she said, she would then have to pay for the chicken dish herself since she had made the mistake. She tried to convince him the tempura chicken was good...kept saying it was like chicken fingers. The food was not good enough to make up for it. The sushi was poorly made and kept falling apart with chopsticks. Would not recommend it at all...

Worst restaurant ever. Went a couple of weeks ago and was served raw chicken, which I didnt eat. You couldnt even cut it with your fork and it tasted like rubber. So I gave it one more shot and happen to get the same cook, who decided it was a great idea to make jabs at me the entire time. So its my fault that he served me raw chicken and so he should make fun of me at dinner? The food was actually good this time, too bad the guy was a complete jerk. I will never be returning and I will let everyone I know to steer clear from an unprofessional establishment like this. Epic fail!

I used to love this place... the food is good but the bald waiter sucks.... he never refills our drinks he will refill everyone elses drink but mine and my sister and we go once a week.... I ask him for a refill and he filled it up half the cup not even a full cup... then gave the people sit next to us to go drinks even when they didnt even ask for it.... then the younger slim guy waiter gave me a dirty cup look like spit... I ask for a new drink he gave me an empty cup.... for people that go every week these two waiters makes me not want to go.... it is very disappointing
