Dear James: I have seen and read your Craigslist post and I just want you to know that if you wrote that post just to make it go viral I want you to know you might have just succeed in doing that, how ever you also succeeded in letting the whole world know how ignorant and stupid it was of you to do that, let me explain why. First and foremost, Ihop is a franchise, this you should already know, or do you? Just incase you dont, every ihop across the United States has a different owner. By you posting something as ridiculous as you did, you are not only affecting the business for the owner of that location but you are also giving all IHOP across the nation a bad name but what do you care? Its not your business, your not the one losing money, all you care about is letting the whole world know you are just one of thousands of people who are racist because not all locations have a racist manager like you! I have been at different locations across the nation, where the manager is white and they are very friendly, Which makes me wonder how did you even obtain that position? Its obviously clear that you lack the skills of a manager based upon the comments left on here by unsatisfied customers letting you know of the bad customer service they have received at your location, bad customer service comes from bad management. But since you think that Mexicans are stupid for not being able to speak English, that we are lazy and uneducated, what is your excuse for knowing English but not using it properly as far as telling your employees how to do a simple little task as taking someones order? Is it seriously that hard? Its clear you are the one thats uneducated. What are you going to do when a Mexican who is born in the United states, thats a legal US citizen happens to want to apply at your location? Are you going to call I.C.E. on them too? Of all the racist comments I have read about mexicans, this one here is by far the most stupid and ignorant one I have read. I am Mexican and very proud of my roots, I am also legal here and I have a degree in Certified Business. I speak perfect fluent English, Spanish, and I am currently learning to speak Korean, French and Arabic. Every nationality has lazy, uneducated people, rapist, murderers etc, its not just mexicans, not all of us are bad. And just in case you have forgotten, if you are not a American Indian, you too are a immigrant. I dont hate you nor do I wish you the worst in life nor I want you to get fired because of a post you have publicly made on Craigslist. I just hope you reevaluate and take for consideration the comments of unhappy, unsatisfied customers and actually do your job as a manager and address any issue with your employees and your waitresses, if you think that is too hard for you to do so, I have a list of hard working Mexicans that would be more than happy to take your position and actually get the job done. Mexicans work hard and will work practically any job position, work in climates that reach 100 degrees or higher and work long hours and we never complain about work. So if you think that Mexicans are lazy, stupid and uneducated, then clearly you are getting nothing but the best of the best from Mexico. Please dont be so quick to judge mexicans or anyone in general for that matter, there are still great hard working people in this world from different nationalities. Thank You and have a great day.

I vacationed recently in Tucson and the food was so good at this IHOP location that I went back every day for breakfast. I dont know what is going on about the "racist rant" in this review thread but all I saw were people of all colors, shapes and sizes having a good time with friends and family, eating great food. The restaurant is clean, tables clean, utensils clean, no goo on the syrup carafes, the orders came very quickly arriving hot. Wait help was excellent and cheery though restaurant packed full at all times. The portions are LARGE, the huge carafe of coffee is very tasty and I am picky about coffee, the eggs were perfect, waffles crisp, hot, generous portion of butter, hash browns perfect, orange juice tasted and looked like fresh squeezed, not a single thing I could complain about. One time there was a long waiting list but we were put on the list and barely had time to sit down outside to wait when we were called in. The quality of the food did not change over the days I ate there and I would not hesitate to try another IHOP location based on this experience. I normally wouldnt think to eat at an IHOP but the food was really good and for the price is an excellent bargain if you are wanting to take the family or visiting relatives out for a meal. At no time did I see any hint of "racism" of any sort so not sure what that is about but there were Hispanics, Africans, Whites, Brasilians, some young Muslim women in head scarves, young kids with a few piercings, tattoos, old people moving a little slow to get to their tables and no one had any issues, to my knowledge, of any kind of racist/sexist/bigoted treatment. Everyone was happy and enjoying themselves. 5 stars for food, service, cleanliness, price!

First time is my LAST time. I was placed at the end of the restaurant next to an incredibly hot window, with the staffs refusal to turn the AC on; I had to press my apple juice glass to my forehead to stay cool. Furthermore, I was placed in an area filled with squawking and squealing babies that made my dining experience unpeaceful. The customer service was VERY unsatisfactory; I waited almost 45 minutes for my order, while customers who came in after me got served within five minutes. When I finally got my Belgian Waffle Combo, the waffle looked like it was thrown together at the last possible minute and my scrambled eggs were overcooked. I will never go to this IHOP again, for I have had better service at Jack-in-a-Box.

For starters, it took 5 minutes to get seated. This should have been our first clue how the visit was going to be. Our server seemed nice enough, but once we got our food, we were largely ignored. Then, when it came time to leave, it was a huge hassle to pay our check. The girl at the register said flat out "I cant cash you out because you werent my table" then disappeared for a minute and then suddenly, she COULD cash us out "Im ready!" The saving grace for this visit was that the food was hot and fresh and tasted good. Overall, it was really less than "okay" but I didnt fully "dislike" it. I am quite disappointed though.

Service was slow. Both our server, Peter, and the food runner, Nadia, asked if we needed ketchup or hot sauce and we said we would like some ketchup. Neither returned with it nor did they return to see if the food was ok. I had to go ask for the ketchup and then again to get to go boxes for the now cold food to warm it at home. When I paid the cashier, she already knew the server in our section was doing a bad job and took 10% off the bill without me asking.
