Called today because i have a free coupon for a free birthday buffett and i dont have access to a printer today which i told the cashier over the phone i askd if i can show the coupon that i recieved on my phone it has a coupon number and tells u what the coupon is for if i present my phone and show u the coupon is that ok she said no it has to be printed out i said can u plz ask the mgr if i can use the coupon and she said well ok I could her here breathing on the phone and she got back on the phone and said the mgr said no you can not use the coupon 2day. I said u never even askd the.mgr because i could hear u on the phone breathing .Talk about rude and lieing to a customer. This particular cashier has been so so unpleasant to my father and I when we eat there and they seem to have her as there only casher majority of the time and she is so rude but is friendly to people of her own race meaning people that are not born in american but mexico.The Golden Corral of las cruces needs to take her off the register and put her in the back to wash dishes or clean the toliets. Because with the poor people skills she has its rude and racist of her to pick and choose whom she wishes to be pleasant to. I understand now why this particular Golden Corral has a 3 star rating .I will post this persons name when i see her name tag

The manager gave a bad impression while waiting to get something from our cashier on the way in. When I found a piece of stainless steel pot scrubber pad in my scambled eggs and approached her to mention it, she walked away with only a verbal acknowledgment. When I handed her the piece of metal from the food and told her exactly where it came from, she merely stirred the eggs in the pan but DID NOT remove it from the buffet. There was another pan of the same food item, scambled eggs, but even if it where the only one, the food had become contaminated by the pot scrubber being cooked into the eggs, it should have been removed for public health and safety. In the end, the manager asked only if I was alright, but no apology or acknowlegment for people being exposed to contaminated food in the Golden Corral on Telshor in Las Cruces New Mexico 88011. The rest of the staff was ok, but were there only 11 minutes.

Ignore the negative comments! The tables are fine, what do you expect?! At least they have enough tables especially for large groups. Yes they changed location but the location is convenient. This place is nice and clean. Food is fantastic, fresh and well expected. The only time you would expect to not see your food that you are wanting to get is if this place is packed but hey thats what a buffet is supposed to be... All you can eat! There is no issue with entering and exiting the buffet. They have a one way to go in and a separate way to exit. Its very convenient. Employees are friendly! I would recommend this place to anyone! I am definitely coming back. -side note- I dont see why they deserve negative comments. This is the only buffet in town. Furrs is closed. It would be nice to have Furrs back and have Golden Corral in town!

Absolutely the worst place I have been into. When first entering the building it didnt smell clean. 8 to 9pm and all the food has been sitting under the lights without care. Staff talks gossip next to the customers. Another staff swept the floor next to me while I was eating because the owner will not purchase a vacuum cleaner. The crumbs were flying as she swept. One of the staff members stated another staff member had brought her own vacuum from her household. The food was dry and after three attempts to get cocktail sauce I gave up. The chichen was surprisingly moist and the clamp chowder was delicious. Not worth the $15 I spent. The whole time I was there the waitress never picked up my dirty plate. Never again will I go to this Golden Corral.

The service there is horrible! We arrived about 20 minutes after opening and we expected the food to be good since it was just made, but we soon learned that most of the food looked "half-eaten". When I was going to get some food, I noticed a few dishes without serving spoons and tongs, so I tried to get attention of several people to no avail. Our waitress, Ana, was attentive and kind. Some of the food was good, to our surprise, but most of course was bland and distasteful. When asking some of the staff for things such as candy floss or when more of the food would be coming out we were given bad looks. I couldnt believe the poor service around there. Will not be returning!

It rather depends on the time or day you go to the restaurant, ive had good and bad experiences from the restaurant. On some days the food is fresh, still hot and everyone else is having a good time. On others, food is cold, waiters or waitresses ignore you while the silverware you eat with is already stained before you even eat. Other than that the food is usually good despite them sometimes taking their time to refill the selections and/or it being cold or tasting...off. I still go there but the price for a family of four ($60) is not worth the trip half the time. 3/5

Decent service. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations. Cauliflower was extremely overcooked and dried out, broccoli was slightly overcooked, the meatloaf was inconsistently cooked and very salty, the fried "firecracker" shrimp was sadly lacking the bite that wouldve made it earn its title, the zucchini was very inconsistent in doneness. The small chicken wings labeled as teriyaki were acceptable. Overall, although our waitress was very helpful, the food was very lacking in taste and quality.

Me and my family walked in this restaurant and it smelled unclean. It is way to overpriced for a decent meal which this wasnt in this case. There were hardly any seats available and that day there were reserved seats. The tables were so dirty, the food wasnt great, and some kids were running around. Im very disappointed in this restaurant and wont go there for a very long time. My family felt so cramped and the food was disgusting, it truly felt like we were cattle in a CORRAL but this one was not golden.

I love Golden Corral. I havent been there in awhile. So I decided I wanted to go. BUT.. Today I went and I was about to pay 17 something almost 18 dollars for 1 person! JUST MYSELF. All for shrimp? Signature weekend? What if I didnt even want to have shrimp? I can go to Texas Roadhouse or Cattle Baron and get myself a nice plate in a nicer place. Just thought it was a little ridiculous. It used to be just 10 dollars a person. I was really disappointed. I took my money elsewhere. Thanks!!!

We got food poisoning from the food. There was 4 of us and the only things we ate that were the same was salad and ice cream (so Im guessing one of those is what we got sick from.) We got sick within an hour after leaving. While in the restaurant the employees are incredibly rude which just makes this whole experience even worse. I was able to talk to a manager after we left, who was nice enough to appologize and offer if we needed anything.
