My daughter and I were amazed at the wonderful lunch dish we purchased for only $ 5.00 each with a drink added as well. It was a new experience for both of us. It is a very nice and clean cozy restuarant . We had a most delicous chicken dish served with rice and the spices were extremely delicous..an amazing dish . The owners were very friendly and made us feel so at home we forgot to leave a tip. A nice large tv inside to watch while waiting for your food and very comfortable as well. Pleasant air conditioning where a lot of restaurants we have been to this summer have been extremely uncomfortable..not here.. it was perfect. Great food-great prices-great hospitality and confortable seating. A must to go to. Im surprised it isnt filled with college kids as there is enough food to take home for a later meal and good for the buget. It is a must. Once you go here you will want to come back soon. DO NOT GO HERE! I had the worst experience with the staff. Upon ordering a sandwich for delivery and waiting for an entire hour for its arrival I only opened it to find out that they made me the wrong sandwich. I called them right away to inform them of their mistake calmly and was promptly hung up on after explaining. HUNG UP! Then when I called back later they had the nerve to lie to me and say they werent open. Of course they were open, they had just delivered a sandwich to me. WTF! I not only got the wrong sandwich which was DISGUSTING but they ruined the situation with rudeness. Do not reward them with your business.

The food is fresh and there are so many choices its hard to pick 1 or 2! Everything is flavorful and just like home cooking. Save room for sweets or eat that first. The only thing I wish was that I lived closer, this is a real treat and you will not be disappointed. Its not easy to get real, good middle eastern food in AZ but I am thankful to have found Golden Bakery!

The Jumbo Falafel ($6.99) wrap is amazing. Perfect lavosh, filled with light falafel, fries, fried cauliflower, sliced hard boiled eggs, tomatoes, onions, pickles and tahini sauce. AMAZING. We also enjoyed the zatar flatbread, the bread was perfect, soft and flavorful and the zatar topping bright and delicious. The muhallabia and the kenafa are required desserts.

I would highly recommend this restaurant/bakery to anyone, even those who dont like Middle-Eastern food. Delicious food, very friendly service and reasonable prices. If I were to recommend one meal in particular, I would encourage you to try "The Monster" ,, dont let the name scares you, its a very friendly meal

I ate there a few times and would recommend it to anyone. The meat pies are very tasty, I would especially recommend the Balbaki pie. The price also seems cheap for the quality of the food. That said, dont expect a nice sit down place. Seating is limited and not the nicest.

Not bad. Nearly everything comes on the bread they make here. Which isnt bad, its just less traditional than other places. The staff is pretty friendly which is cool.
