The Draper Kneaders is consistently the worst franchise of any food chain Ive ever witnessed. Its not Kneaders fault - its this location specifically. If you go expecting the quality of any other Kneaders, you will be sorely disappointed. If this location is your only option, expect McDonalds quality food with Ruths Chris prices and the service of the DMV. Actually, that may not be fair to the DMV, which has chairs for you to sit in while you wait for your turn to receive horrible service. Any other Kneaders has French Toast that is fresh and hot, and theres plenty of it. We have waited 45 minutes for our French Toast in Draper on 3 separate occasions (and it was chewy - like we got the piece of the French Toast with the grissle in it?). Everywhere else the salads are plentiful and delicious. This location gives about half the portion and it often tastes like there is soil on the lettuce (not an exaggeration - it is a testament to other Kneaders locations that I ever went back after biting into a salad and tasting dirt). Other locations have fresh pastries. This one does too, about 50% of the time. Otherwise you get day-old fruit tarts with soggy pastry cups, etc. Other locations get your order right at the drive through. This location owes me at least $10 worth of bread and soup and other items they forgot to give me after they had no problem remembering to charge me. I have always waited about 6 months between visits to the Draper Kneaders hoping this location would meet the expectations set by Kneaders in South Jordan, but after 4 years, nothings changed. I will return to this store again if they have a big sign that says "Under New Management." Until then, I will drive right past it and then another 4 miles to get to the South Jordan location when I have a hankering for baked indulgences.

I have never left a review for anything online but was so upset with my experience at this location that I wanted to warn others. If I could rate this location 0 stars, I would. I ordered a chicken caesar salad in the drive-thru but did not open the container until I arrived at work (so I was not able to take it back). The "chicken caesar salad" had literally 4 tiny pieces of chicken on it. I have never paid $8 for a container full of lettuce and am extremely unimpressed. So much for a "gourmet salad". I called to inform them/ complain and was told by the girl on the phone that corporate was at the store that day and watching the portions they were serving and that what I received is what they expect their employees to serve to all customers and to expect that amount of chicken on my salad if I were to order it again. She did offer for me to come back in for a free salad but considering she offered that after she told me to expect basically the same portions/ experience, why would I come back in? I don’t care if it’s free. I can buy lettuce at the grocery store (which is basically what I would get) for less than the gas I would waste to drive back there. I usually go to the South Jordan location and have NEVER had an experience like this. Their portions are perfect and I always get what I pay for. I will NEVER go back to this location and will be sure to tell all of my friends about how terrible the customer service, management, and food is.

This morning the family went to Kneaders in Draper. Ordered 4 meals (B-Fast) Ordered peanut butter pancake for the kids and received regular pancakes with processed peanut butter. Thinking of something different. Wife ordered pecan pancakes she liked them! I ordered french toast. Our order came to us timely. My french toast was cold as if they just came out of the frig. I went to the front counter and tried to get the attention of an employee wiping the counter down. I said excuse me two time before he turned and said, "what do you need bro!" I asked if they could heat my french toast up in the microwave as they were cold. The employee said "just a minute" and continued wiping down the counter. About 15 second later he turned and said, "What did you need" I again told him my french toast was cold and asked for it to be heated up. He took my french toast to the back and then came back with two more and said, "here are two more and they are fresh" I again felt the french toast and they were as cold as the others. Very disappointed in the experience at this Kneaders as it was our first time, not a very good first impression. Probably will not return. Bad customer service, and food was cold.

This Kneaders is TERRIBLE! Kneaders in general is overpriced, but at this location the food and service do NOT make the higher prices worth it. They get my order wrong almost every time and the drive through takes FOREVER (I know it will take longer than normal fast food, but were talking like at least a 20 minute wait during lunch time and sometimes even when its not busy at all). Today I ordered a 9 DOLLAR croissant sandwich and its the smallest, driest croissant Ive ever seen, they put lettuce on it when I specifically asked to exclude it, I paid an extra dollar for avocado and they added two tiny slices, and I waited 17 minutes to get my order when there was one car in front of me. Also, dont expect them to make any substitutions- they "cant" make any, not even the smallest, most reasonable ones. I keep going back because its such a convenient location, but never again- this is just ridiculous! Ive wasted way too much money on their sub-par food and service. Get it together Kneaders.

I buy lunch for my department about every other month from Kneaders, and it typically costs about $100.00. Today 2 of the bread bowls were missing (we ordered 3), which is no big deal, mistakes happen, so I called and spoke to Russ, who apologized, and said to come in and he would also give me a pumpkin bread for my troubles..."great!" I thought. When I got to Kneaders a girl met me and said that I must be mistaken, because she distinctly remembered putting the 3 bread bowls in the bags. I advised her only got one, and she got annoyed, went and got me two bread bowls and didnt give me the pumpkin bread...really? I would spend $100, drive back to work, and then come back just to get 2 free bread bowls? Very disappointed in their customer service.

I love kneaders, but Derrick Deaton who runs this store is VERY rude. Embarrassed my pregnant wife and kids in front of a crowded store. He thought we were trying to trick the system by sharing french toast with our little kids. When I called to let Derek know it was inappropriate to embarrass us by saying we were trying to get more French toast than he wanted to give out he said I was stealing from him, even though I paid for it. All Derrick Deaton cared about is maximizing his profits, not taking care of his customers. He jumped to conclusions about us and embarrassed us in front of everyone in the store. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! GO TO ANOTHER LOCATION OF KNEADERS INSTEAD!!! Hey Derrick Deaton, Have you learned some manners?
