So, its like... my family and I walk up and order some fewd. We look around. Site down. And then out comes our food. Bathrooms smelled but thats to be expected. So... about the fewd. It tasted like it didnt taste. It wasnt that good. Felt like they took my money but didnt give me mexican taste. They had some .... umm....salsa at the salsa bar... but they all kind of tasted the same but different colors and textures. The pico de gallo at the salsa bar was like umm... like,...pretty mushy and stuff. I did no like it. That much anyway. Also, it took some money out of my wallet which I would have liked to spend at a better place. Know what I mean?

Ive been going to carambas for over 12 years. This is the rudest carambas ever. The order was taken wrong and the cook was so incredibly rude! The order taker asked the order be remade and the cook had so much attitude about it, he was so rude. The entire kitchen staff sat sniggering the whole time the order was being remade. Ive never experienced anything like this at other carambas. There are 4 other carambas in the valley go to ANY other carambas. This carambas is rude. They must not want return business.

Ive been eating here for a couple of years and always loved it. Within the last couple of months my visits havent been great. Food is still good but the girl working the register is rude. She didnt even ask what I wanted to order just stood there, then I couldnt hear her so I asked for the total again and she just stared at me, she is very rude and uncomfortable.

Ive been to different locations before and the one is surprise takes forever! I came in and there was 1 other couple in the entire store who already gotten there food. I placed my order Togo and say down. I watched and it took them nearly 10 minutes to even start on it. Ive been to the one by arrowhead mall and theyre much faster.

Im a regular here for years and tonight my family and I went here for dinner and the guy at the counter refused to serve us at 8:45PM when they close at 9PM. Very rude, puffed up and kind of hostile towards us when we wanted to order. We will never visit this location again.

Did not like anything about this place best fresh mexican food my a** I dont see how this place is still open paid 20$ for some nasty food didnt want to give any stars but it didnt give and Im mexican just didnt feel like cooking so decided to give it a try me that option

This place is great for quick, good Mexican food. The cashier seems to work non-stop, everyday and I joked with my wife that their are 3 the go that are certain in life... 1) You will pay taxes 2) you will eventually die 3)The cashier at Carmens will be working.

Thought it was ok. Beef was super soggy from just sitting all day keeping it warm. Beans.... Meh. No flavor. Bacon grease please. Rice. Same thing, sitting all day, so kinda dry. Salsa bar was nice. Price was reasonable. Not in my top 5 for the area.

Had the grilled fish tacos, and the shrimp tacos. Soooo good. This is by far my favorite Mexican food place in Surprise. I tried my daughters spinach enchilada, and wow. This place never ceases to amaze me. Will always eat here.
