This place is absolutely terrible. Had a friend tell us to try it so we did. This was the biggest mistake of our night. The service was terrible and the food was absolutely disgusting. So much so that I found my self vomiting in the restroom...literally. The service was decent until our order was taken. We then went without a refill in our drinks for the rest of the meal. There were 6 in our party. 3 people got there food, while the other 3 waited for 11 minutes to receive ours. That is when the my problem began. As I started eating I noticed a funny taste. Figured it was normal and continued to eat. As I tried different things the taste was all the same. My steak (in the fajita) was literally purple? Not sure if that meant it wasnt cooked very well or it was actually dog, or some other kind of meat. Everyone kept telling me I was probably crazy, until I forced them to try something from my plate. My wife did, and instantly spit it out and told me there was something terribly wrong. Others at the table refused to have their meals disturbed and only agreed to smell my plate. Upon smelling they all agreed I wasnt crazy and that the food was simply rotten. Just to give you an idea of what it smelled and tasted like, take an old mildewy kitchen rag that someone has wiped down a table with (you all know what im talking about? where the table just radiates mildew disgustingness? now trying eating that). As I sat there thinking of what I just ate, and the terrible aroma arising from my plate, I found myself in the restroom spilling my guts into the toilet. The best part about the whole thing? After finally getting a hold of our waiter, he sniffed the plate and said "that is what it is supposed to smell like" and handed me the bill. WTF??? If thats what it is supposed to smell like you should be out of business!!! Im not looking for a free meal but really?? All in all I will NEVER be returning here, nor will anyone I ever talk to. Good job La Fountain, mexican USED to be my favorite food. I will have to stick with chinese for a while.

In short: bad service, ok food, rejects coupons. Hostess dropped the menus on a table as she walked by and kept on walking without saying a word so we didnt know if thats where we were sitting and had to ask another employee. The food was ok, but it tasted different from the other La Fountians we have been too and they felt a little skipper with the ingredients. Then when we tried to pay the clerk at the door was confused what we ordered and told us go back and ask our Waiter what he gave us. We had a coupon with us and they said we couldnt use it because they put our order on 2 seperate tickets for some reason even though we said one and that the meal we ordered was a special so it didnt qualify but we showed the waiter the coupon when we ordered and he never said a word. It was a poor experience and we wont be going back. We didnt feel welcomed. The irony of the experience makes me chuckle a little. Arent coupons and advertising supposed to draw people in? They fight so hard reject them that it defeats the purpose. If you want Mexican I suggest trying somewhere else.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE A NEGATIVE 5 STAR I WOULD!!! FOOD IS OVERLY PRICED AND HORRIBLE FOOD. I MEAN HORRIBLE!!! I ORDERED SHRIMP BURRITO.. LITERALLY CAME WITH 5 SHRIMP ON NONE MELTED CHEESE ON THE THICKEST TORTILLA IVE EVER SEEN.. AND LITERALLY THAT WAS IT. AND I ORDERED MENUDO.. OVER PRICED COME WITH ANY OF THE CILANTRO ,ONIONS OR PEPPERS AND THEN WHEN I CALLED THEY TOLD ME THAT IS A EXTRA CHARGE FOR WHAT NORMALLY COMES WITH IT AND THAT THATS HOW THERE BURRITOSINCE COME... SO IM LEFT WITH A DRY NONE MELTED SHRIMP BURRITO AND HALF PUT TOGETHER MENUDO... AND THE WORST OF WORST WAS THE SALSA .. TASTE LIKE BLANE TOMATO SAUCE WITH KETCHUP... IM SO ANGRY I WASTED MY MONEY HERE... NEVER NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!@

While the New Mexican food is authentic and delicious, they purposely overcharge every time. We thought we were the only ones having this problem with them, until tonight when we went with friends, and they had to get their over-charged bill corrected, and fight to use the full value of the coupon - just as we had to do right after them, and as we have on other visits there - always between $1.20 to $5 over. My friends speak Spanish and heard the owner tell the cashier one time to only give them $4 off with their $5 coupon ("No mas de quatro.") Their constant dishonesty has made it so the four of us wont return there any more.

Weve been coming here for years. Recently its obvious they have changed their quality of their menu, and you can tell. My chimichanga was not the same one I got the last time I came in. It was almost like it was pre-made and just warmed up. The shell seemed rubbery. Its unfortunate, were probably going to have to find another go-to mexican restaurant in the area. The person who served us was not polite, and seemed like she was just waiting to get out of there. I know it was work, on a weekend, in a restaurant...but the guests should never be made to feel as though they are an inconvenience.

The place is very cute. The food was fine. I wouldnt mind going back. I was sitting on a booth, which is just fine, I dont have any problems with booths, but this one really needed the upholstery replaced. It made me uncomfortable the whole time. But they were very friendly and nice. I had the daily especial. The food was fine, but it could have better presentation. But maybe it was just because it was lunch.

We absolutely love la fountain. The chips and salsa are my favorite, they serve their drinks in large glasses and the food is consistently great. We eat here once to twice a week, sometimes with our kids but mostly without. The owner Thomas is a friend now. He works hard and so do his staff. This is a friendly and professional place to eat that I highly recommend. Daily lunch specials are winners!!

Love this place! it is my families favorite. Great service, hardly ever wait and the people are always so friendly. Once i actually forgot my wallet and didnt realize it. The owner let me take my food home - since it was a to go order - and then just said come back and pay after i eat it while it was hot! how awesome is that you dont find people like that anymore.. The prices here were very reasonable and the staff were helpful and nice. We asked our waiter a million questions and he was very nice and patient and gave us good suggestions. I had an absolutely delicious ground beef enchilada and my husband loved his meal as well. If youre looking for some good, solid Mexican food, I definitely recommend this place. We will be back for sure.
