Dont come here! Food was really bad and service wasnt great either. We came on a Sunday around 1pm. It was busy, but they sat us in about 10 mins. Decor is nice and I like the music and patio. When our waitress came over she told us all the things she didnt like on the menu and then told us to order something that took less time to make. I originally wanted a breakfast quesadilla without onions, but our waitress made it sound like most things on the menu have a lot of onions, like in the multiple relishes they put on most breakfast dishes. That bummed me out. I ordered avocado toast and my boyfriend ordered the spinach portobello benedict. The waitress did let us know it would be a while until we got our food so we were prepared to wait. 30 minutes later, our food comes and mine is pretty much inedible. My avocado toast had so much salt that I ended up just eating the eggs and leaving the rest. My boyfriends poached eggs were very well done so he asked if he could get actual poached eggs. 15 minutes later they brought him new eggs and they were basically the same. From start to finish we were there for almost 2 hours. Their kitchen is small and it sounds like they dont have the capacity to keep up with demand. The owner ended up comping our meal without us saying anything because of the wait and food. He also gave us a voucher to return. Although that was much appreciated and thoughtful, we wont be going back.

This is my second visit to BkB. I was so bowled over on my first visit, which was in the middle of the day with very few tables. Today, my son and I arrived at 10:45 a.m. on a Saturday, and the place was packed. Happily we were seated immediately, and soon after ordered our selections. 55 minutes later, I inquired with our server about not getting our entrees. 10 minutes longer, and the manager came over and promised our ticket was next. 20 minutes longer, and the manager returned empty-handed, with more apologies. All he could offer was that our meal today would be comped. I just wanted to eat! After seeing several meals served around us, and tables seated and served after we had complained... our meals came out at 12:20 p.m.. - a full 95 minutes since we were seated. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated, and it is apparent the staff and management has not been trained properly to gear up to the popularity they are experiencing. It is one thing to have our ticket "lost" - stuff happens, but once it was brought to the Managers attention and a promise was made to get it rectified, the larger crime was in not getting our order out for another 30 minutes after the mistake was realized! I feel for our server, who I do not blame, and did take care of when we left. However the manager needs a much better control of the kitchen if they expect to last.

My daughter and I go to breakfast a few times a week, This was our 1st time at BKB and I will say the food was great HOWEVER the service was so bad that we will not be back. The hostess was rude, the set up is so uncomfortable you are sitting so close to the tables around you that it feels like you are having breakfast with strangers and it took over 40 min to get our meal. I had to ask for a refill on my coffee and the server took my cup to fill it but put new coffee in with the old coffee which made it cold. We asked if we could change tables when we were seated and the server directed us to a larger table. The hostess came over a told us that we needed to hurry because they had a reservation for that table. The restaurant was mostly empty at this point in the day so we could not understand her rudeness. We asked our server about it and she told us they do not take reservations. This experience was really disappointing because we spend a lot of time at the Quarter. Sooooooooo disappointed, we were really hoping we found a new breakfast joint but not so much.

Everything as far as food and service was really very good. The "big" problem I had with the place was how confined and crowded the seating was. Every chair at our table had another chair directly behind and very little room to move and a need to interrupt other diners just to be able to pull our chair out and sit down... This place is very popular and was very busy on the Sunday morning that four of us went and I just do not understand why they subject their customers to this crowded condition.. To fit more people in, to make more money per sq. foot?? It doesnt seem to hurt their business so that might be why.. Anyway, will have to think long and hard about going back due to this issue... If you like crowds, arent claustrophobic, and dont mind banging chairs with your fellow diners, this may be the place for you... and, again.. the food and service was very good so I hope they reconsider their seating if enough folks mention it.

Ive been here twice so far. The first time I had a great experience with the service and food. It was pretty busy, but the waitress still checked on us plenty of times and we didnt have to wait too long. I got the breakfast enchilada and thought it was pretty darn good, but was a bit heavy on the black beans. The second visit wasnt quite as great. It wasnt too crowded, but I felt like we rarely saw our waitress and the service was really slow. I got the hashbrown pizza and was pretty disappointed. It was basically four piles of hashbrowns smothered in cheese with very little bacon and eggs on top. All I could really taste was cheese. My mom got the eggs bennidict, which actually was awesome, and was kind enough to share hers.

Definitely my favorite huevos rancheros I have eaten in the state of AZ, I consider myself a huevos rancheros aficionado! Just add chorizo! The iced coffee & fresh squeezed OJ were great! Salads were fantastic and just loved all the healthy choices!! Service was excellent. Place was much louder than we would like and I unfortunately have to say it seems a bit over priced (welcome to Scottsdale, I suppose). Chocolate croissant was HORRIBLE! Do NOT order! I need to find out the bakery where they are purchased so I never go! Otherwise really happy with our brunch!

We were sat a 2:05, drinks showed up at 2:35, food showed up 2:50. French toast was soggy and forgettable. Wifes meal didnt show up for another 15 minutes. Forgot all of our side dishes. Im not impressed at all. The server complained that hed been sworn at in the kitchen for asking where meals were. He blamed everything on the kitchen not having their "s#1t" together. But he forgot our drinks and never checked Id we actually got all of our food. Id be embarrassed if this was my restaurant. And on mothers day to boot. Thanks for ruining her day!

The food was okay. We got the farmers market omelet and the breakfast pizza. The omelet was massive and full of all kinds of veggies. I also added sausage. The taste just was not impressive. The pizza thing was okay. Service was good. My favorite thing was the raspberry sorbet mimosa! It was so cute and yummy! We got there around 1:30pm on a Monday and there was no wait at all. Food came out super fast. We got the vanilla sunrise espresso drink and did not like it. Not sure if we liked our experience enough to venture back. :/
