The absolute worst experience Ive ever had in STV. SO.MANY.ERRORS. 1. What BBQ place runs out of brisket on a Saturday afternoon? San tan Grille does. 2. 3 meals, 4 different delivery times. 3. $6 side of limp greasy undercooked fries. 4. No ice in the drink dispenser/ 4 of 6 type drinks out. 5. $23 dollar fish dinner served in 4 different stages. AFTER everyone at the table was finished eating. If that was 24oz. Ill eat my hat 6. Bar_B_Que salsa... DISGUSTING.That is all. 7. Manager/Owner made a point to inform me that all food is cooked to order. When the green bean side dish was obviously a completely mushy canned reheat. 8. Every single thing was sooooo sweet (creepy salsa, even odder "tarter" sauce, cornbread thing, unremarkable yet cloyingly sweet coleslaw) I felt that I might need dental work after I left. 9. Insanely high price for the value... $55 for dinner for 2 adults and a kid. For that price I would at least expect salt and pepper on the table! Asked the "server" 3x for said condiments. Never recieved. Gson asked for ranch for those sad, sad $6 French fries. Was handed Kraft individual serving pack! WTF! 10. And last but certainly not least was the fact that use of a Groupon is restricted to Monday-Thursday, dine-in only. The cashier kindly informed me that the response to the Groupon was overwhelming. That being said, I had just 20 min earlier purchased mine. If you are not able to honor these in a professional manner, perhaps you stop selling them? This restaurant is in such an out of the way location I have a hard time seeing their justification for the prices and obvious fails. I will be contacting Groupon for a refund

A 1 only because I have to give it a score, ordered through grub hub, took an hour and 40 minutes to receive the food, which whatever..ordered a family meal that was suposed to be a pound of brisket, 3 pieces of corn bread, green beans, and potato salad..I added bbq beans and a bottle of sauce!!! Got a call from san tan grille stating they didnt have a pound of brisket...I said ok, well give me what you got and then add in some pulled pork (very nice of me considering the pork is much cheaper by the pound!) Food gets here and the grub hub guy says the meat with the sauce is the brisket..as if I wouldnt be able to tell beef from pork?? Sit down to eat, and I didnt get the bottle of sauce!!!! Then Open up the meat and the "brisket" is shredded white meat..so pork..and the pulled pork I think was actually chicken, completely dry no sauce on it..the corn bread was not there, it was crispy sticky nasty flatbread, and all the other sides were mediocre at best! Oh and by the time it got here it was 7:45 so they were closed...Ive called 5 times so far today between 1 and 1:15 (they open at 1, and no answer)..

I dont normally write reviews like this. However I felt the need to vent about my experience. My family went to San Tan Grille for the first time. We ordered a family meal which was almost $60. We waited over an hour for our food. I told my husband lets hope this is good! The rib sauce killed the ribs- there was wayyyy too much sauce! Then meanwhile the waiter/ I guess owner was chit chatting with another customer for a long time! It was a struggle just to get some take home boxes. Although he was super friendly with the other customers. I was hoping to get a thanks for coming in or something. He didnt even acknowledge our business which would have been nice considering I just spent $60. Whereas the other couple he was being super friendly with probably spent half of what I spent. I told my husband we wont be going back because I paid $60 and not even a thank you for coming in. I dont just pay for food when I go to restaurants but I pay for service and friendliness too!

One star cause I cant give 0 stars. Order somewhere else if u are doing delivery! I ordered 2 1/2 hrs ago... 1 hr ago I called and they told me they got the order 1/2 hr ago (so an hr after I actually placed the order) but they are preparing it and I will have it in a 1/2 hr which was 1/2 hr ago. Lost yet? Ya me too. Called at 6:51pm 9 minutes before closing time and no answer 2x calls in a row. They just robbed me of 75 bucks... And since u use grubhub to order delivery, thats including a tip I clearly wouldnt of ever have given. Did I mention this is my FATHERS DAY dinner? We decided to do it tonight instead of Fathers Day cause of schedule. Not sure if my foods still coming or not but Im ordering some crappy pizza now for my Fathers Day dinner. Thanks a lot Santan grille.

The first time I went staff very friendly, had to wait a bit, the owner offered us drinks while we waited. Food was delicious. Today I called in my order to avoid waiting, I placed my order at 2pm. I arrived at about 250. Food still not ready, was told it was coming right out. Its now 320 and Im still waiting for an order I placed over an hour ago. The after waiting about 10 minutes the chef comes and tells me they have run out of beef hot links that were supposed to be in my sampler platter. By the way did I mention Im still waiting. I asked to purchase a soda while I waited but the soda dispenser is down. Oh by the by the way still waiting. Paid $91 for my order, food is good, but not enough for the wait. Not happy.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Food was delivered and it was inedible and grossly over priced. The bacon tasted like it was past expiration. The potato salad was the same thing, tasted past expiration. The homemade sweet tea was none other than a gallon of tea from "great value" brand (It will still in the sealed great value container). The worst part was however, when we contacted the restaurant they refused any type of refund or try and save our business in anyway. Their attitude was we were just trying to get free stuff.

This is not smoked meat. I ordered rib tips that were surely boiled first and very lightly smoked. There was no smoke ring and the flavor was all boiled out of the meat. Dry as hell. Ordered beans, if you like Campbells from a can do it up. I was the only one there . Ordered to take out and it took at least one half hour. Will not be going back.

This was our first visit at the San Tan Grille. The food and the friendly atmosphere were both amazing! Geneous portions of delicious BBQ, corn bread and coleslaw. They even gave us chips and BBQ salsa (which is to die for) because it was our first visit. Well be back for sure.

Waited 40 minutes for 1 brisket sandwich and there were only 2 other couples here! Food was ok. Service was terrible, the waiter was not apologetic about anything. Said they had 10 delivers ahead of us, but never saw anyone come or go! Never going back

Wow, never thought that I would find this kind of barbecue so close to home....goodbye summer diet and well worth it! These guys know what hometown barbecue is all about...literally, finger kicking good!
