What a great spot. We just moved here from TX and are trying places around us. We are kinda on the edge of the city and usually have to drive 20-30 minutes to find a great place to eat. I am glad we finally found a great spot not 5 minutes from us. Cleanliness of the restaurant was good. There was a wait late in the morning when we arrived. Not too bad though. The wait staff did take about 10 minutes to bring our drink orders after dropping off the menu. We decided to try the chicken fried steak and the signature french toast. Order took 35 minutes to come out, which seems a bit long to me but I also understand they were super busy. Note: when the wait staff did come around, they were very friendly. Well the chicken friend steak is about what we expect. Really good. However, the french toast made me forget about the wait. WOW. What a great concept for french toast. I dont believe I have had anything outside of normal french toast before and this was just awesome. Saving the best for last, the price. Very reasonable prices for breakfast compared to a breakfast / brunch location we went to yesterday. I really want to give 5 starts but have to do 4 for the time being because of the wait. No doubt I will be going back in the near future and will update if the next experience has a much smaller wait time.

Good service, very personable. Seems like a nice place to have breakfast periodically. Usually dont eat a big breakfast but periodically like to splurge. Just had a very standard breakfast of eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and toast which most breakfast restaurants do. Which makes it hard for one place to stand out from another... Nothing on the breakfast really stood out as great or not so good. Have not tried other things there enough to know what their "specialty" is.

Food is good but service was bad. Our waitress also the manager told is us we were unhappy people then started an argument with us. I would not go there if it was the last place on earth. So if u want to go there so the manager can tell u how to run your family go ahead. I have to say it was the worst experience I ever had so to all my friends you know who you are dont eat at san tan cafe. It not worth the wait.

My husband and I come here every Friday with the exception when we are out of town! Friendly and great service! My kids love to eat here too! Very kid friendly! The food are yummy and good portion for low price. We are like a big family and love hanging out munching on yummy food!!! Come on by and have great food and enjoy friendly service!!!!!

Staff was very friendly and quick on service, and the food was phenomenal. I had a burger with pastrami on it, which isnt something I have seen before (though I might just be sheltered) and hash browns, and it was one of the best burgers Ive had. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food. Would definitely go again

Cozy comfortable place with VERY friendly service and great food. We decided to try a new place to eat and so glad we did. The service is more then just polite but genuinely friendly and down to earth and great with kids. It was our first time here and we saw four different regulars come in while we were there.

We feel like weve found a gem in the desert. Weve been looking for a great little breakfast spot way out here in the Queen Creek boonies and finally discovered San Tan Cafe. Cute decor, plenty of tables, good prices, delicious food and friendly service. We loved it and will definitely be back asap.

My husband and I absolutely love this restaurant! The pancakes are hands down the best we have ever had. Liz and all her employees are friendly and make sure their customers are happy. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great breakfast or lunch spot.

My wife and i frequent san tan cafe, we absolutely love the food and the service. I have tried 80% of the items on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. If you want a recommendation, you have to try the sweet and crunchy french toast as it is out of this world.

Was visiting Arizona and decided to stop in at this cafe for breakfast. The waitress that served us was so kind. The food was great!!! We decided to have breakfast the next morning at this same cafe and the service was still wonderful. Highly recommended

Today was the first time we had a terrible experience waitress was awful very slow all she worried about was sitting outside smoking a cigarette with her friends next time I make sure that I dont get her she has no idea how to take care of customers

My wife and I went to have breakfast the food was good like always. But our waitress had a piss poor attitude and people received there food before us that had arrived after us. The waitress made excuses why our food didnt come in a timely fashion.

The waitress handed us menus that she had been carrying around in her sweaty armpits. She also kept reaching over my food with her bare armpits to fill my water glass. Overpriced for the frozen hashbrowns that I could have gotten at Albertsons.

This is my wifes and my go to spot. The owners are great people and the staff is very friendly. The food is very good, large portions, and excellent prices. I have not had a meal or experience here in almost 3 years of weekly visits.
