I wanted to like this place. I really did. Its on Roosevelt in a remodeled home right off 15th Ave on the beginning of the Roosevelt artsy corridor, so its got a good location for the type of business it is. However, I wont go back. The interior is small but clean and remodeled well. Theres some convenient parking in the back. Those are the positives. The negatives: the drinks are too sweet, the service was slow, the cashier forgot that we had ordered a second drink and that we had ordered a pastry. I suspect she forgot because it took so long for our first drink to be made. It was too expensive. 1 small coffee, 1 large coffee, 1 pastry=$12+. Ridiculous. The worst thing was the volume of the music in the dining area. It was outrageously loud. My husband and I couldnt talk to each other it was so loud. I mean, cmon, this is a coffeehouse, not a bar. Why is the music turned to 11? Makes me sad for what couldve been...

The coffee is made with love and fabulous! I tried the Cafe Churro and the sweet mix of cinnimon and cream instantly relaxed me. They also have jugos, my husband tried the mango, generous swrving light ice and he enjoyed it. Please realize this place is starting out small. They have to drum up the business to pay for the permits to have outdoor seating and to sell food. Right now they dont have any food other then cookies. If they get there rhis place will be out of this world if the food is as good as the coffee. Support local business and be patient this is a diamond in the rough.

Mexican hot chocolate got me fu**ed uppp. So dank, I swear this is my new favorite place. First time coming here today, nice, chill place. Chair had a little throw blanket on it like its meant for my abuelita. They made me feel comfortable being in a small shop, had some flan coffee that was perfect. Reasonably priced. Chill af. Cute location, friendly cashier and barista. Ill be back :)

Tried the cafe churro and an empanada, the coffee tasted like it had cinnamon and sugar, the empanada was a bit dry with not too much pumpkin (they buy from Azteca bakery), it was just ok, the ambiance was hip but cramped and getting in and out is rough because the counter and door are right next to each other. For the money Id rather of hit up Lolas and get the Matador

Blows Starbucks away! Had the churro latte and my husband had the flan latte. Both were delicious, wanted to suck it down in one gulp! Prices are decent, $4 for the regular size and worth every penny. Staff was friendly. When we got there, there was no line. By the time we left there was a line so be prepared to wait.

This cafe is one of the greatest cafes in Phoenix. The location and parking are convenient, The music and staff make the environment laid back and fun. Most importantly, the food and drinks are nothing short of AMAZING. The apple empanadas and Horchata lattes ("Cafe Horchata") are out of this world!

The New Times called this place the "Mexican Starbucks." They are absolutely right. Amazing coffees. There was live music outside and, while they dont sell food, there were a couple people set up outside selling nachos and ice cream.

Very cool space. Loved the Tres Azteces. Normally dont like sweet in my coffee, but this was so flavorful, loved it. Only complaint was lack of outdoor seating, the front yard would be so great on nice mornings.

This is a coffee lover must kinda place! Try the horchata coffee or the strawberry-horchata licuado. They are both delicious! Will definitely go again. The parking lot was hard to find the first time I went.

Love the new location! Music is great, decorations, and the drinks are so unique and sweet! ❤️ Definitely can consider this as the "Mexican Starbucks", or better. Only bad thing is that the service is slow.
