I spend a decent amount of time in Laveen and visit this store at least two or three mornings every week. Pros: Two stars for cleanliness and accuracy and food/drink quality whenever I come here. Cons: Slow service. During peak at my usual Starbucks hangout (56th St & Thomas) they bang out orders in a matter of moments. Here it will take them a solid 10-15 minutes to get your order prepared, because in general they appear understaffed for peak hours in the morning. The staff is varied in their levels of professionalism. Always friendly, but you may hear vocal complaints while you wait for your order which doesnt really make you feel too warm and fuzzy inside. Finally, this morning I entered the store to the sound of country music. Im not talking about a Johnny Cash or Willie Nelson song that might have sneaked into Starbucks corporate store playlist. I mean the employees put on a country playlist. If you like country music, thats cool, but its not my cup of tea. Its definitely not professional when Starbucks has spent a long time creating a very particular corporate image and your store is not adhering to that corporate vision or values.

Very poor customer service. 4 people working not so busy did not acknowledge my presence. Took a bit to take my order. Ordered 2 fraps, 3 people who ordered after me left before me I approached the barista and asked if my fraps were almost ready to what she responded.. "almost"... served it and tossed the straw... wow poor representation of such monster company. Never have I seen such poor customer service at a Starbucks. Btw I went at 11 a.m.

Like all Starbucks, this offers the usual fare, but the staff make the difference. The people that work here are extremely friendly, helpful, & attentive. They remember your name after a few visits & always get your drink right if you have a usual. Its a great place to hang out, surf the web on their free wi-fi, & drink your favorite coffee or espresso drinks.

Got snubbed by the barista of this morning. As I walked up to the counter the barista was having a conversation with a coworker. I waited a bit, then said hello to draw attention to my presence. The barista acknowledged me with a Hello and went back to the conversation he was having with a coworker. I left after about 20-30 seconds. All I heard was a giggle.

Disappointed that today my mobile order "that took place at 3:09pm" took 20 minutes and was not moved to the front of the line. I watched while she made 4 drinks and they were not mobile orders. Drinks were also half ass because of how fast she was trying to make them so they werent full pumps into drinks. Sucks when your looking forward to a good drink.

Attitudes R Us!! Came in for my "Free Reward" Drink No one was smiling, young guy struggled with dividing my Venti Carmel Macchiato. Has 2 ask, still struggled. Then young lady had to remind me that they gv me 2 larger drinks (grandes) and said it w/attitude! Hey, Dunkin is across street! Always Friendly, Drive-Thru and always friendly!!

I asked for a decaffeinated coffee and they said they would rather make me a decaffeinated latte - when I said no they then told me they didnt have decaffeinated coffee. Then I asked for a pour over decaffeinated coffee and they said it would take them 10-15 minutes to make it. I was served a watered down coffee 5 minutes later...

Super friendly and located next door to the best ice cream in the valley. Id give it five stars but I dont think theyre making the cold brewed ice coffee with cold water. Its like battery acid, way more acidic than the standard iced coffee. Its probably a training thing as the other stores in the area dont have this problem.

The lady that was taking my service was very rude and mad about how I wanted my drink, this made me uncomfortable. Her name is MARIE and just make sure if you see a MARIE taking your drinks double check because the past times Ive gone she hasnt gotten my drinks correctly.

Stopped in tonight to meet a client. It was late and it was a long day. The nice young lady at the counter not only gave me a cup of coffee, but a cup of kindness. She went out of her way to bring me the coffee I ordered. Her kindness made my night.
