When I arrived at Tryst tonight, I planned on picking up a couple of meals with my Groupon as I was unaware that I needed to dine in so that I could use it. When the hostess came back after confirming with her manager, I was not upset at all and simply asked for a table for one. (After all, it did take me 45 minutes to get there and it would take just as long as to get home.) She excused herself and went back to her manager who shook her head in exasperation. The hostess then returned and said I would not be permitted to dine with them that evening, which confused and upset me greatly. She said that the whole point of being able to use a Groupon is so that you can tip. I responded that I always tip the full amount of the bill, even if Im using a Groupon. I could tell that she was about to go and check with her manager a third time in order to see if I was allowed to stay, but I stopped her and simply said that the experience was quite uncomfortable and I preferred to eat elsewhere because of how unwelcome they had made me feel. I was also offended that her manager never felt any inclination to come over and speak with me herself, which might have prevented a loss of revenue for them and a spoilt evening for me. I have already contacted Groupon for a refund as I will not be eating at this establishment in the future. Delicious and healthy food is wonderful, but it should always come with a side of customer service.

I visited the cafe last night with my daughter for dinner. I had the special which was steak, green and red peppers, green beans and french fries over a bed of rice. I asked our waiter if this dish can be prepared without onion and his response was "of course". The meal was obviously not prepared "fresh" and I found a number of slivers of onion which put to the side. The result of having this meal that was not onion free is unpleasant to say the least. Asking to prepare a meal without onion is not the same as having the kitchen staff pull onion out of a prepared dish. It is obvious to me that the Tryst Cafe holds little regard to dietary restrictions even when they are identified at the time the order is placed. And since we cannot trust the wait and kitchen staff to follow simple requests then how can we trust them that vegan or gluten free requirements are also followed.

My husband and I ate there for breakfast and had a delicious meal. Portion sizes were quite large. Our waitress provided ok service. We requested a to-go box but instead they through out our entire meal/leftovers which was easily 75% of the meal. When requested either a revised smaller version of the meal or some kind of coupon for future use - they refused and also refused to provide us any kind of credit for future use. So after spending $40.00 and only receiving $10 worth of the meal - as a manager I would have done the right thing and made sure I had my customers coming back. That now will not happen. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with customer relations. Restaurants know that 80% of their business comes from REPEAT customers and Tryst should have been smart enough to take care of us. Wont return.

This resturant is traumatizing. I like organic food but not when it looks wilted and out of the bottom of a garbage can. I ordered a veggie omlet and I said no mushrooms and extra onion. I recieved huge mushrooms and what looked like a whole half of an onion not even chopped up. The onion was good though. It tasted like the skillet that was used to cook the food was really dirty and never washed. The red potatoes were good that came with the meal but not the best. I expected more but still ate my plate. Most of it was delicious and the server was very nice. This is less of a review and more a shout out for help to the owner. I wish to come back sometime and be impressed. Until then I still love my whole foods.

I absolutely love this place. You cant find a place that has such great food and where all the employees are so nice and such good servers. My hats off to Lea and Charlene. They are our usual servers and do a great job on top of being so friendly. Also Liza and Zach. Hes a new employee who is a very polite and respectable young man.( which is hard to find in young people these days) His Momma raised him right. i hope they all stay here because they make it a very nice experience . The breakfast, lunch and dinners are all wonderful. We will go next time to hear their live music while we enjoy dinner. Thanks for a great place to eat!!! Rated 10 out of fives stars.

I have had breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Multiple times. I honestly have to say that this place gets better with every meal. The only thing I found not to my taste is the cider on tap, however, I do love the Bison organic pale ale! The food is out of this world. I am making my way around the menu and everything is wonderful. I have been there about 10 times and have walked away more than satisfied every time. Service is excellent, friendly, and they take a minute to get to know you. The fact that they buy from local farms is a big plus. Outstanding all the way around!!

Awesome place. This is going to be my new favorite place to go to. They use local food which is great for our state and everything is organic and can be gluten free. If any of you know do not like eating non hormone, organic meat then this is the place to go. I had great service. Of course you are going to get some times where service is bad I have had it at all my favorite places. It just takes someone to get mad to actually write a review. I wish more people would review places and try it more than once. I do not want to make this an arguing match either

WHAT A FIND! We went to Tryst for breakfast yesterday for the first time. The menu was varied and the service was enthusiastic and helpful. The owners, Sam and Lisa, are delightful and are eager to please. We enjoyed it so much, we took friends there for dinner last night! The presentation and food was great. We will be back...OFTEN! I hope others will support small businesses like "Tryst Cafe." It offers an upscale eating experience, while feeling like a small-town atmosphere.

I ate at Tryst today and was impressed for a first-time visit. They have a great selection of healthy foods with some dishes sound so good, Ill definitely be back. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is one that inspires loyalty with options to dine in or on the porch as well as take-out. I had the Southwest Chicken Salad. If I continue to be impressed, Ill come back and change this to a five stars and it may just become one of my local favorites!

I fell in love with this place last night . I didnt want to go here but it was seriously the best food Ive ever had at a place like this. My husband had the tuna melt, I had the bbq burger- we had to do half and half with each other because they were both too good. I got 2 cock tails which were amazing . husband had the ipa, he loved the kilt lifter. The waitress was a precious sweetheart. I asked to adopt her! I love this place I want to come back
