Forgive my run-ons and ramblings. But Im just going to say all the things I love about pomegranate cafe :) I love the atmosphere of it, the bright colors, cool pictures on the wall, the new seating, the mason jar light fixtures, the mother theresa quote, and I love how the daily menu chalkboard is always done in different fonts. The staff is wonderful and are always very kind and helpful. Cassie is really cool and you can feel the passion and love that she puts into the design of the store and of course the high quality food. As for food, I really enjoy choosing from the daily menu options because its fun to try the tasty creations they come up with and when I think of the best meals Ive had there, they have been from spontaneously and kind of impulsively saying "Ahh sure Ill try it" and then absolutely loving it! If youre there for breakfast try one of their daily scrambles the ancient grain toast and POM berry jam that come with it is unbelievable :) Ive tried a good amount of the main menu but I havent explored it as much as Id like, I usually stick to my favorite items like the lumberjack sandwich, super green kale salad, and the green garden protein bowl. Their smoothies are great and my favorites are the sambazon sunset and the superpower. Their new coffee creations are really cool too, I love the maca warrior mocha and the turmeric latte is awesome. Oh! And if youre ever feeling a little sick or even really under the weather, muster up the strength or get someone to bring you home a cold and flu buster. That thing is so potent it will knock out cold symptoms like nothing. I like to go in one day and their cold and flu buster, And then come in a day or two later and get their green-ade which Ive also found to be really good for healing, Ill get that with a super green kale salad or any one of their bowls and it nukes all your symptoms. But my absolute favorite menu option from pomegranate are their desserts, THE best desserts Ive had. They constantly put out delicious cake creations, cupcakes, muffins, scones, and bars. And their staples like the seed balls and cowgirl cookies are really good too. Im soo thankful that this extremely delicious and health conscious restaurant exists so close to my house, in a neighborhood ridden with fast food chains and sports bars. I love supporting this local business and I will continue to come here for years and years :)

The food and the space here are excellent. The service on the other hand, so-so. In terms of space: You have the choice of dining outside on the spacious patio, inside to the left in the main seating area, or to the right amongst the mini-market wares, so a nice variety. The mini-market has foodstuffs, household, & body care products by almost exclusively local artisanal producers, ranging from Ramona Farms tepary beans to Simply by Natures probiotic deodorant (both of which, were big fans of). For food, youve got a massive range of vegan and vegetarian dishes, all organic (or rather, 98% plus), much of it local, and from the sampling we tried, all of it delicious - even surprisingly so when you consider how often people slack on vegan cuisine, simply relying on its being healthier or cleaner as an excuse to lack in flavour. Stylistically, its primarily classic comfort food (very kid-friendly). Some of our favorites include the blueberry lavender smoothie, gila monster nachos, and the buffalo chicken wrap (even though its oddly reminiscent of teriyaki). The service isnt terrible, but its not great either. Though everyone there is perfectly friendly and chill, theyre also slow and often inattentive, busy or not.

This place is AWESOME!!! We came in for the 1st time this last weekend and I asked the guy at the counter what he recommended and it did not disappoint! I had the Philly Melt (I think thats what its called) and my husband had the tempeh bbq skewers. So freakin amazing I couldnt shut up about it for like 2 hours! We are on the road almost every weekend and if they were open later in the evening we would have done dinner too! It was so good we got dessert... and we NEVER get dessert. I wont even started on the those because I could rave about them all day. Had a berry "cheese"cake bite and a "snicker" bar. Great... now Im drooling :- / And Im not sure the unhappy poster meant when he said they walked in waited 5 minutes to be greeted or about slow service. Its the kinda place where you order at the counter and just find a spot! I bet they would have waited all day to be greeted if they were waiting for a hostess! haha

Do flies in your food count as a vegan dish? I ordered a vegetarian/vegan lunch at the Pomegranate Cafe today which was served with a side salad and as I begun to eat the salad I noticed something moving about in the bed of greens. The moving about was this plump little fly that had been buried amongst the greens.....With a turned stomach I returned my plate (with the now dead fly on the side) to the counter and explained that I would not be finishing my meal since it was served with flies in it (certainly disqualifies the meal as a vegetarian/vegan dish). The lady behind the counter simply said "Oh Im sorry" but did nothing else about it. The lack of customer service, or willinginess to make up for food served with living flies in it, and the simple fact that I was eating a salad with flies in it will definitely keep me from ever eating at this establishment again. Brings new meaning to a RAW restaurant!!!

First time here.. The patio was nice. Has small cactus center piece on each table. Once I entered the restaurant had a nice country style setting which was nicely put together. Theres a potium that says wait to be seated. We waited 15minutes as people continued to walk right passed us before someone asked if we were helped yet. My girlfriend tried to ask a person up front for service but I quickly pulled her away because it was a customer lol. Cant blame her you cant tell who works here. Seemed very unorganized at the front took almost another additional 10 minutes just to be seated there were plenty of table opened. The menu was laminated and held together by twine. As a first time customer I would have liked to see some pictures. Food was good just wish the quality of serviced matched. Had gift cards which kept me from leaving due to the front incident I had. Give three stars for the food.

If you are ready to be introduced to some great vegan dishes or if you already love vegan food the Pomegranate Cofe is the right place to go. A 98% organic vegan and non-GM farm products are used and are presented in varieties of dishes based on an extensive and detailed menu including the starters, main dishes, bowls, burritos, sides, soups, salads and more. There is indoor and outdoor sitting arrangements. They make their own bread and healthy pastries. The drinks include the restaurants own specialties, juices, boosters, wellness shots, hot and cold teas and smoothies. Happy hours are for dine-in orders and they serve beer, house wines and cocktail. For coffee lovers there is an Espresso Bar. The restaurant is popular and can be crowded even on a Tuesday specially if on Monday it is closed. This at times may affect the efficiency of the service.
