The food is not good and the service is laughable. But if youre coming here for the band, i guess they assume you wont care because youll show up no matter what. Enjoy the band, but eat before you come. Chicken Caesar salad was soggy with chewy chicken. Burger sliders were dry. Chicken fingers were mostly bread but ok. Fries were a gamble: some good, some overdone and soggy, some undercooked. The southwest egg rolls were not bad. They do not offer any vegetarian options and were hesitant to make a grilled cheese, but did oblige. Tl;dr: It was fine for the atmosphere but dont go expecting to eat well.

Went to watch a band Friday night. The guy at the door was super friendly and cool. The band was good, the girl who served our table was very attentive and friendly. The beers were nice and cold. But I tried the nachos and paid extra for pork on top and they were not very good at all. Cheese was cold and there were hardly any pieces of pork on it. Also there were no jalapenos on it. Pretty disappointing. That said, I only had the nachos so I cant speak for the rest of the food. If I go back, maybe Ill try a burger instead and will follow up with another review.

This was a great restaurant. I dont drink so I am not sure how their drinks are but their food is amazing. Everything tasted very fresh and was cooked perfectly. I talked with one of the cooks and they said they get everything locally and do all of their own butcher work so the meats are extremely fresh and very delicious. Cactus Jacks also offered some great entertainment. They had a whole schedule of all kinds of bands and singers which performed during the month. Definitely a fun place to be.

Super fun live music venue and bar! Happy Hour live entertainment and all! So I give it 4 stars for the "bar" part. Delicious hand-cut french fries, but the burger was NOT good...as in dead, flavorless, and grey in color. Plus, the waitress wanted our credit card to order food for two, and two cokes (before the Pistoleros show Friday night). It wasnt even busy yet (we were one of 5 tables seated). Recent changes in management I hear. So, try the pizza?

Went in for Karaoke Night. New company, better sound, better slection, and they seem to be bringing out a bit of a better crowd. I dont know call it classier rowdies. Try the wings, they were awesome! Karaoke was Thursday Night.. If youre a video gamer they now do Guitar Hero on Tuesday Nights. Not my scene on that one, but a bunch of the younger crowd said it is a blast playing through a real sound system and showing off?

Great local bar with live music and great food. They have a regular rotation of local bands. Sunday night there is a Grateful Dead cover band The Noodles that is absolutely fantastic. Great scene and great people. They have different food specials that are always interesting and taste great! Fun, low-key and relaxing place to hang out and listen to music or watch a game.

We came here for lunch. Great service at the bar. The menu was simple and pretty usual. We all had burgers and fried pickles. First off everything was fresh and made in house. It was amazing! Apparently they are new owners of the kitchen. Its shows. Not your normal "bar" food. Definitely coming back.

This place has the BEST nachos! I havent been here with music or entertainment but my husband and I went in for an early evening dinner. I was in heaven with their nachos! The staff was VERY friendly and we had a really nice time. Ive lived in Ahwatukee for years before I found this!

This place is a really fun sporty bar. I had tons of fun on Sunday with all the football games. The fooseball table was lots of fun too. The service was solid. My drinks were cold and full and the food was quick and delicious. The pizza was better than any fast food junk.

Came here on Friday night and it was lit. Popular with the young and old crowd, the band playing was great!! I think it was a bit understaffed but everyone had a drink in their hands. Im not sure about the food but the atmosphere and dancing was fun!!

Cover charge to see a cover band? No thanks. I can sit outside and listen for free if that is what i wanted. I go to a bar to eat or drink beers. I refuse to pay money to enter on top of 5 or 6 bucks per beer. I will go elsewhere.

Went to see a band here and the atmosphere was fine. Its got a good setup/layout but the waitresses were walking by us all night long and never even once offered any services. Had to get up and go to the bar directly each time.

Excellent bar - There is always something going on at Cactus. I highly recommend stopping in whether is it for watching games, casino nights, listening to great live music, or enjoying the tasty food!

Great clean venue! We go to Cactus Jacks on Mondays for Craps games. The food is really good compared to any bar weve been. Salads, sandwiches and drinks are great! I recommend it!

Great bi-level stage, superb soundman, great servers, reasonable prices, outstanding music, you have to check out the Noodles every Sunday, a sacred experience.
