A great little place to eat, with friendly staff, good quality food, and pretty good service. My wife and I have eaten here many times over the last 8 years, and I cant recall every getting something that wasnt cooked well. It always seems full of smiling faces and pleasant background conversations. If someone has poor service here, its probably their fault. Im not saying the service is always quick, when it gets busy, things do slow down. But if you are a rude person, some of the staff will feed it right back. As they should, they dont deserve to be treated the way Ive seen some idiots treat them. The only reason Im not giving it 5 stars is because the food is above average for the price, not exceptional.

Quaint little breakfast joint serves good food. People are nice. Dont go on the weekend unless you go early. Long lines all the time. Gals provide nice service and are friendly. It would be nice if they wouldnt skimp on the potatoes on your plate. They are very inexpensive and when you get an order "home fries", and you dont even get "A potato" worth of home fries on your plate, thats kinda lame. Using real cheese would be a plus for this place too. Yellow cheese is artificial and repulsive. A little pricey, a little greasy. For $7.99, 2 eggs, home fries and toast? Ok then, put some freaking potatoes on the damn plate already huh?

My dad loves this place so I decided to give it a try...well, I was not super impressed. The food was okay. The French toast was dry and the eggs were bland. The service was definitely below average, and the waitresss only concern seemed to be how quickly she could get us out of the restaurant.

When you want that warm home feeling and classic breakfast, this is your place. I am a fan of Village Inn as a staple breakfast place for a breakfast in a pinch. This is much better than that. Its breakfast with nostalgia, and a pinch of charm.

The line was long and I now see why. The food was exquisite. Nothing fancy. It hailed back to a simpler more nostalgic time of when you used wake up on a cold winter day and mother had a hot plate of breakfast for you.
