Other than the staff....I would not recommend this place for breakfast....I asked for eggs over med....I got one that was over hard and one that was over easy. THE POTATOES = GROSS.....Our waitress was very nice and got us a lot of salsa to cover up the bad taste. My wife ordered an omelet and asked for cheese on it...pretty sure it was the nacho cheese out of the can and the mushrooms on the omelet were also out of a can. So, if you want to have a nice conversation with someone I would recommend going there to speak to any of the staff....just don’t eat the breakfast. I won’t be commenting on lunch because I won’t go back there.

My fiancé and I travel to Mesa often to visit family and this is our GO-TO restaurant. Quaint little place with plenty of seating. Most of the patrons appear to be Snow Birds. Best coffee Ive had at a restaurant. NEVER tastes old or burnt like its been sitting for a while. They use Boyds coffee. Weve only been to Little Mesa Cafe for breakfast. Im not a big fan of pancakes so I tried the Belgian Waffle. As I had hoped, it was delicious. Light, thick and filled the entire plate. I asked for pecans in the waffle but I guess they serve the waffles topped with pecans in this restaurant. That was fine with me. Reasonable prices!

I have been eating at Little Mesa Cafe for several years. I go on the weekends for breakfast. (I can not speak to the rest of the menu because I have never ordered anything but breakfast.) In short, I keep coming back because the food is consistently good, the prices are extremely fair, the portions are generous and the folks who work here are warm and friendly. The service is prompt but not rushed, and the coffee is hot and good. I bring my friends to Little Mesa and they become regulars.

Odd little place...lots of homey charm, but our food was pretty bad. I got an open-faced roast beef sandwich with gravy & mashed potatoes (recovering from oral surgery & had limited chewing ability) and the gravy was made of salt and brown. It wasnt by far the grossest place Ive been, but I wont go back after that meal.

I went with my daughters and had some very good pastries and some okay breakfast sandwiches and man was it expensive. We had the fruit tart, the chocolate-walnut-zucchini muffin and an orange roll along with a few croissant sandwiches. The pastries were really quite good.

Nice family restaurant. Weve been stopping in since 1990 (forever). Menu has evolved, but their chicken n dumplings is always the best you can get anywhere. Mostly us older crowd. Oldies rock when the radio is on. Breakfast specials are very easy on the pocketbook.

Went there a while ago. Disgusting. Some old man was coughing and coughing up phlegm. He had his oxygen on but it didnt seem to help. He ordered The Usual so I gather he frewuents the place for breakfast. Beware of flu and tb. This man was absolutely gross.

Tonight we had a roasted turkey dinner at the Little Mesa Cafe and it was wonderful. The turkey was moist, tasty gravy and dressing had great flavor. All the way home my husband said "did I tell you how much I enjoyed that meal?"
