Food is great, but customer service is horrible!! I have received horrible customer service in several occasions. I dont think I am the only one out there that notices how rude they are. They get pisst off if you cant understand them over the phone. I was hung up on once when I was calling to place an order. They statrted doing delivery now, so I was trying to get a order for delivery. The first time I called to place a order for delivery they said it would be $1.50 for delivery, and recently I called again to place a delivery order again, the women said I was to far and it would be to expensive. So, I was like "WTF". LOL! That tells me they are charging what ever they feel like charging that day for delivery, and delivering if they feel like it. Because she also told me, "it is easier if you pick up". What is up with these people.....? LOL They are surely suomething else! They arent only rude, but they dont even check up on me on time to see if I need refills. There I am eating with no drink. I love the food, but I will do my best to never go back there again! Well deserved one star!

Manager lady is brusque and annoying. Wait staff seems friendly and eager. Wide selection of dishes, plus daily specials. We ordered the "gang pang" chicken (seriously...thats the name... ;-), and the szechuan chicken. Both were listed with the red chile warning icon (spicy!!). But neither was spicy. Or at least not much. And the flavor was OK...not great...just OK. This is definitely NOT "gourmet". If youre looking for some fast Chinese take-out, this is adequate I guess. Nothing special. Dining in you just get to pay for drinks and a tip, so why bother? Theres a place on Alma School at Elliot thats better (China Way) if you want Chinese food. At least other Chinese folks seem to eat there too. Nobody except the staff was Chinese in JK. That should have told me something right there. If we eat here again (unlikely), Ill update this with opinions about whatever we order (wont be szechuan or gang pang!). Maybe some of their other dishes are better.

Anything but Gourmet! I recently stopped there for carryout for my wife and me. She was wanting something spicy so we ordered the Gang Pang chicken since a lot of people had mentioned it. It looked nothing like the picture and tasted like day old orange chicken with a few jalapeños placed in the box, chicken was tough and the breading was stuck together. Definitely not worth the money. We also ordered the Mongolian beef which was just as bad, the meat or "so called beef" was light tan color almost looked like pork but had a slight beef taste. I never post anything about places but I had to inform people since you will end up paying a gourmet price for fast food quality dishes and in to be perfextly honest I have had some better fast food dishes.

Out of all the Chinese food places we have been to in our area, J&K is the best. Their food is high quality, fresh, and delicious! Its a bummer they dont deliver, but I think the places who dont deliver offer the best quality food because they arent rushing to get your order out and then it sits stop after stop. What we eat...I love the Sesame Chicken. I add white onion and broccoli to it. My husband gets the Mongolian beef mild. Their crab puffs are good as well as their sweet and sour chicken (sauce comes on the side). There have been a couple take out orders we did get that werent up to par, but honestly places are allowed to have bad nights now and then. Otherwise its always amazing!

Best Chinese food in Gilbert! Is had almost given up on Chinese food out here until I stumbled across this gem. I dont know what the other reviewer was talking about... They deliver! We probably order JK like twice a month at least. Everything tastes fresh and delivery is usually pretty quick. They say 45 minutes every time and I usually get it in 20. I think they just say that to under promise and over deliver. We always order the same thing... Beef broccoli with fried rice and sweet and sour chicken with lo mein. Prices are reasonable too. Keep up the great work JK!

this place is a rip off i ordered before 300 to get the lunch price. the manager charged me the dinner price i questioned her and she told me to look the menu. when i did the price was not lunch menu price. i called back and she told me u ordered the dinner price thats why i charge u dinner !??? what the heck she would not honor the lunch menu price .. tried to over charge me !!!so annoyed. ill never order from this place again .. obviously they dont care about their customers and if we go back !!! zero stars !!!

Excellent food. Pleasant service. Highly recommend. Finding a really good Chinese restaurant can be a crap shoot. I am often just not overly impressed with new places I try. But here the food is really really good, delivered to the table on stylish trays, and served with a smile. I had an old favorite, General Tsos Chicken,and my wife had Hunan Chicken. Wow! Both were amazing! The salad had a delightful, light cilantro dressing and worked well with all the rest of the great flavors on the tray. Highly recommend!

We moved here about 3 years ago and started getting take out from J K. Im not a big Chinese food fan but I love some of the dishes here. The Wor Wonton soup is a meal in its self, comes with shrimp, chicken and veggies. I also like the Singapore Mai Fun and the Moo Shu Pork but sweet and sour pork will always be my favorite Chinese dish. The service has always been outstanding and I can get take out dinner for two at or under $20 !

Ordered the crispy chicken and it came out nearly frozen in the middle. They took it back and microwaved it. We asked if they microwaved it and she said they had to because frying it again wouldnt have worked and a new one would have taken too long. No apology or anything. She said, you want to take it off? Fine, no problem, and walked away. Awful customer service and undercooked food. Save your money and go to Great Wall.

The lady on the phone today needs to be fired. She was very short, rude and snarly. I love this place their food is amazing and Ive never had a problem with the people who work here until today. She didnt give a name but hopefully someone sees this that works there and talks to her. I called back to cancel because I didnt like the way she was talking to me. Otherwise this review wouldve been a 5 star easily.

The service is always wonderful, the food is always delicious! When you go to J&K you know exactly what youll get. They are very consistent . My fiance and I are regulars and they have gotten to know our orders almost instantly. Its the perfect reasonably priced sit-down restaurant for a casual Saturday lunch or a nice Friday dinner. I recommend J&K to all of my friends--so try it!
