Not very friendly to outsiders nor foreigners, rude staff and owner never corrected what his staff did to my friends and guests. I travel for business. I work with two engineers from Mexico City, wonderfully, talented, gracious people. We had been working hard for the past 2 weeks in Phoenix and just started our way to Albuquerque. Thought wed stop and see the Grand Canyon and spend the night in Flagstaff. Had a great day seeing the sights and we all decided to kick back and have a good dinner and drink a few pitchers of beer. The place was packed, we seated ourselves and ordered plenty of food and beer. Our servers name was Cam. Young blonde surfer looking guy. We had enough beer that we didnt care how long it took for the food to come out. The night was coming to an end and we were closing the bar down. One of my partners got up to use the restroom and we carried on our conversations, mainly keeping to ourselves. When my partner returned from the restroom Cam came up and accused my friend of stealing his cell phone. The server insisted he turn out his pockets to prove he didnt have the phone. My friend, who is married, 2 kids, makes more money than Ill ever know, had 2 phones on his person for work and personal, looked at me and said "Is he serious?". I turned to Cam and said, "What makes you think he has your cell phone?". He told us how he was sitting outside, talking with one of his buddies, set his phone down, saw my friend pass by and then noticed he couldnt find his phone. So he thought the first thing to do is question my Mexican friend. The reason my friend had passed by Cam, outside the restaurant, was due to a door being locked behind him, when he left for the restroom. His only exit was a hallway that lead outside and a path that went around the front of the building. My partner passed Cam on the front porch of the restaurant just so he could return to our table. At that point we had already settled our tabs and paid big tips for putting up with us until closing time. We were trying to finish our last pitcher of beer before walking back to our hotel. We proved to Cam none of us had his phone. He left unsatisfied and never returned. I stopped another server before leaving and discovered Cam did find his phone outside between two seats. He never apologized to any of us and left us with a horrible mood (actually we stayed up and played cards). I apologized to my friends for the actions of the server, to which they replied, "It happens more often than you think". I called the restaurant to try and get some sort of compensation for the insults. The bartender who answered the phone became rude as soon as I requested to talk to the manager or owner. I didnt even tell her whether I was going to talk business, compliment or even start a complaint. I was told I had to call between certain times of the day and on certain days of the week. So I did, later that week. I made several attempts to contact the owner, to which I was never responded to. After spending so much with them for one night youd think it would be smart to at least acknowledge their wrongs on their employees part, but they never chose to try and contact me directly. We will be passing through again, but will take our business else where. By the look at these reviews we were not the only ones wronged. All I can ask is you not support bullies, jerks, and just plain mean people.

Went here after my grandsons football game to get lunch. Sat down at 12:50 and waited for someone to bring us menus and take our drink order. Finally had to go to the hostess desk (which was not staffed) and grab menus for our table. Then finally a waiter came to our table and took our drink order. After another extended wait our drinks came...and finally we got to place a food order. At 2:00 pm, after still not being served we asked where our food was. At 2:30 we finally got food...it was all cold, my wifes order was wrong, my granddaughters cheeseburger looked like the cheese was rubber and it was ice cold in the middle. The excuses ranged from no hostess, limited wait staff, limited kitchen staff, and a large party in the back of the restaurant. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told he wasnt on site. We are now at McDonalds enjoying a meal.

I lived in Flagstaff for several years and never came here, and boy do I wish I had kept it that way. On Friday 3/18 I went to visit and offered to buy my friend dinner. Since the place we WANTED to eat at had a long wait time and we had a minimum amount of time to eat, we headed over to the near empty Altitudes. The service was incredibly slow, the food was so dry neither of us could finish, the price was way above the quality, and we were charged for cold coffee that took 15-20 minutes to come out. Throwing my money into a toilet would have been an equally effective use of it.

Honestly, Im not one to do reviews. But when I eat something exceptional I will. The walleye fish and chips here is some of the best fish Ive EVER eaten. I didnt expect it and perhaps thats what makes even more amazing. I cannot attest to anything other then the service was good and my husbands cobb salad was plentiful and made with a REAL homemade creamy vinaigrette which is hard to find in this food world of laziness in the kitchen. We will be back...thats the first time I can say this since moving to Flag in November. Next time Ill take pictures.

Horrible service. Horrible management. Good good food.... If you want to wait 90 minutes for a bowl of soup. We went to this place on the way to Beaver Street Brewery because they didnt have a wait (we should have known then) the server was rude and unattentive. When we asked to speak to the manager. She loudly argued with me and the manager let it happen. We waited 90 minutes for a bowl od soup with no service and then they still charged us. Horrible horrible horrible. Too bad because the food was great

Fantastic food! It isnt one of those restaurants that has all bought fake produce. Their food is THE REAL THING! Not only is it real, but it is GOOD. The atmosphere is quaint and historically intruiging. The only problem: they are understaffed. I feel bad for the waiters and waitresses who are sprintimg back and forth just to do their jobs and make costumers happy. They have 2 people working at the busiest time of lunch hour. However, the staff is very kind and helpful. Highly recommend their food

absolutely sub par overpriced food. We sent back a completely burnt burger. The one pound wing special had 8 wings and wasnt remotely special. My pastrami cheese sandwich was bad with nearly no recognizable cheese. The rest of our party opted not to order once they saw our lame entrees. The waitress seemed embarrassed and anxious for us to leave. Ive eaten here a few years ago was super satisfied. But that day for altitude has passed. So lousy that i wont give another chance... To bad:(
