This was not my first time in, Ive been multiple times and have always enjoyed my experience. This, however, will be my final time in. First thing, I sit down and the plates on the table are dirty which shouldve been a red flag. I ordered ramen and my girlfriend got a bento box, which came out fairly quickly. That being the only pleasant part of the meal though. The ramen broth was bland, and the noodles were either over cooked or left to sit in the broth too long because by the time I got them they were mushy. The worst part though, being the "fried" tofu. Im not sure if it was fried that morning and soaked in warm water all day or if it was fried a few days prior, because what was in my bowl was disgusting. It appeared to have a clear gelatinous layer around it and was devoid of any texture or flavor. I couldnt finish my meal. My girlfriends bento box was a collection of soggy and greasy fried items and a salad that had a dressing which tasted as though someone dumped salt into it. The sushi roll was alright, but the other items on the plate had ruined her appetite to enjoy it. Finally, our server who cleared the table didnt ask how our meal was despite how little we ate and the disappointed looks on our faces.

i ordered beef yakisoba, eel cumber rolls, and ice water. i received miso soup. the soup was pretty generic like any other miso soup. i found that the eel cumber rolls were pretty blend. it was nothing special to the roll. however, i manager to finish the rolls. now the beef yakisoba, i found that the sauce was too tangy for my taste. unfortunately, i did not finish the dish because the sauce was tangy for my taste. the service was decent nothing special. the atmosphere was too loud. there were too many people yelling and screaming in the restaurant. i didnt care for it. i do have to say that the price was very affordable. at least it was more affordable than any other sushi restaurant ive been too. my beef yakisoba was under $9.00, which i normally pay about $14.00 for a plate. i have to say the value was quite decent for me.

Dropped by this place one the way home to Orange County, Ca from Lower Antelope Pass. It had a nice ambiance and service was good. I got the Summer Roll which was on Happy hour. It had cucumber and avocado along with Tuna. It was sub par. Rice tasted uncooked and pretty dry. Not as glutenous as other places. Didnt really taste like Japanese sushi rice. Tuna within the sushi roll itself was minimal as well. All I tasted was cucumber and avocado. Secondly I had a salmon bowl. Which was cooked salmon steak drizzled in teriyaki sauce. It was decent and good portions so that made up for the Summer Roll. What took the cake was the New fashion cocktail. Just the right amount of whiskey, bitters, figgy pudding and muddled fresh blackberry. Definitely refreshing and satisfying at the same time.

Usually I am a big fan of Karma and come quite often, however after my experience today I will not be back for along time, this review is based on this experience . We came in and it was steady, not super busy or dead. It took our server well over 20 minutes to come and greet us and provide water for the table. There were 2 parties seated AFTER us , they were waited on before we even received water. Finally after we were waited on it took awhile for the food to come out but it was worth the wait, but yet again lack of service was an issue, no refill but our waitress was behind the bar chit chatting with her coworkers sipping water while her customers went without. The only reason I gave 3 stars was because the food was good, horrible service. We were very disappointed!

I dont want to sound hyperbolic, but my meal at Karma was one of the best, if not the best, I have ever had. I started off with the calamari, which was AMAZING with the perfect blend of crispiness, tang and meat. For my entree, I had the Tokyo Nights ramen, which I had high expectations for due to the calamari, and the ramen surpassed my highest expectations. Everything was perfect in the ramen, and blended together so well. I also tried my friends sushi, which was also really good. To make my meal even better, the portions were very generous, and the prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Be sure you call ahead to reserve, because judging by the crowd, Im not the only one that knows how good this restaurant is

My husband and I ate at this place a few times and have always been happy with it. Sometimes there is a wait, but they will take your phone number and call you so you can walk around town or have a drink at the bar down the street beforehand. Coming from the coast of New York, I was wondering how I would get good seafood in a place like Arizona, but the food at this place is actually very good. They offer a lot of unique and fun appetizers and special dishes, spicy tuna salad is excellent. The atmosphere can be pretty loud on a busy night, more of a fun place than a romantic or intimate place. Service is good. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Normal Flagstaff portions, collage bar atmosphere, service is hit or miss, usually more emphasis on appearance than good service, fish freshest on Thursday or Friday, when busy sushi orders can take a while, actual sushi (sticky rice) is not always on but usually acceptable, presentation and preparation is sloppy, unequal size pieces, over sauced and non traditional. They do have fresh wasabi. Uni was old, spicy scallops rather not spicy, beef sashimi was not fresh. For more traditional sushi and teppanyaki try Teppan Fuji or Sakura. Hiro for just sushi. But if the collage bar atmosphere is what you like then Karma is perfect for you.

The stars speak for themselves. The food is great. I am a novice to sushi, so I mostly stick to the California roll. Friends adore a variety of sushi that I cant attempt to pronounce or spell. I love their Ramen. They recently revamped the Ramen menu, but I have only had the Tonkotsu style. It was so flavorful and filling that I didnt bother with sushi. I recommend going during Happy Hour for some great deals if you can stand the wait. The place gets very busy during peak hours, so you may wait for a table. The longest Ive ever waited is 30 minutes.

Food is great, the service not so much. We made reservations for a 10 top, when we arrived we ended up waiting for them to seat us but it took a long time.. Not sure why they take reservations. We were finally seated with drinks ordered..we end up sitting for 20 mins before I have to ask for menus and their response was oops. Thankfully the food arrived quickly and it was beautifully plated and tasted wonderful. All of the staff were too busy and on edge, made for an uncomfortable dining experience.

My boyfriend and I have been frequenting Karma for the last two years. The sushi is amazing; seriously, its weird how good the fish tastes when we are inland! Our favourites are the Karma roll, the Vegas, the Kaptain Krunch, the summer roll, Tuna sashimi, and the everything else! We have never had a bad meal. The staff is kind, caring, and they work as a team. I love it there, I will continue to go there, and if you want suggestions, feel free to ask the staff what they love. :)
