When it comes to BBQ I believe there is no such thing as bad BBQ. But some places are better than others. This is one of those places. Ive been coming here for about a year now and I keep coming back. Each time I come here I bring a new group of friends and visitors from out of town. I gotta say, this place makes me look like a great foodie tour guide cause anyone Ive ever brought here is impressed. Im happy to see that as time has passed they have become more popular and I see the place more and more packed each time. This is is possibly some of the best BBQ in the valley, no doubt. The service is always friendly and fast. The prices arent too bad because of the quality and quantity of food you get, however, you can find cheaper. The food is great and consistent 99% of the time. I have been here once where the Brisket Burnt Ends were mostly fat and not as much meat but I brought it to their attention and they immediately corrected the situation. Heres what Ive eaten: To start with, I always get the Brisket Burnt Ends. Melts in your mouth. This could be a meal by itself but its a great dish to share. Dont come here without trying this! Brisket French Dip Sandwich: the bread is nicely toasted but still soft enough so it soaks up the au jus sauce nicely. The brisket inside is juicy, soft and tender. You dont have to struggle with this sandwich at all! I like to get the jalapeno coleslaw as a side - and coleslaw is something I usually dont care much for but this place does it right. Someone I went with once ordered the Porkopolis Quesadilla - I wasnt sure if Id like a quesadilla at a BBQ place but let me tell ya - turned out to be a pretty good quesadilla. Loved the tender meat inside - dont expect an authentic Mexican tasting quesadilla... but still a good fusion. However, dont come here and just get a quesadilla, theres so much other goodness to taste that you can do without this one. Their meat platters are very good; the ribs and brisket are my favorites. You can add as much BBQ sauce to your liking... but the meat alone is great. And finally, my favorite thing to get here - their Brady Bacon Burger. So you cant decide whether to get a regular burger, a bacon burger or a pulled pork sandwich? Get all 3 - its called the Brady Bacon Burger. It has all the above mentioned, plus cheese and some of their amazing coleslaw which - again, I dont usually like coleslaw in my burger but this burger wouldnt be complete without it. Ill definitely be coming back here - Ill update my review once Ive tried more dishes.

My girlfriend and I took my son and his girlfriend, in-town from Brooklyn NY, last Saturday afternoon for a take-out lunch. My girlfriend and I have eaten there a couple of times and got the burnt tips each time. The first time was AWESOME...second time we noticed quite a lot of fat...third time we had 2/3 fat to 1/3 edible food in each container. Its DISGUSTING to bit into a piece of meat that is NOTHING but fat. I have separated it out and am taking it back to them tomorrow....dont want money back, just to show them that someone CONSCIOUSLY took pieces of NOTHING but fat, put sauce on it and cooked it to give to a customer. There were chunks of NOTHING but fat, some chunks with a tiny bit of meat and HUGE chunks of fat. Who on EARTH would serve that to a customer...?!?!?! It really PI$$E$ me off when restaurants take advantage of potential repeat-customers. I refused to reward bad behavior with repeat business.,,,theyre dead to me. 12/05/2013: Took the meat/fat back today and showed the manager. Told him we will never be back because if the cook can serve this to a customer I can only imagine what lack of attention the rest of the menu is served with. His response: "...Oh...Im sorry to hear that..." The cook consciously cooked and served this 2/3 fat to 1/3 edible product and the manager says, "... Oh...Im sorry to hear that..."...ludicrous folks...simply ludicrous... The manager obviously does not care what is served to his customers. Its a crap-shoot folks...we had 1 1/2 good meals there and two crappy ones...youve been warned.

Porkopolis has been a staple in our dining out habits since we discovered it several years ago. We have always enjoyed the lunch specials, especially Tuesdays combo sandwich! Now we live further away than we used to, but my husband still begs to go for lunch every Tuesday and we do when our schedule allows. In addition to the great food - we have never found brisket that lives up to theirs - the service is amazing. This past year, they have gone above and beyond to help us celebrate on two separate holidays: Valentines Day and Mothers Day. On Valentines Day, they ran a great special that was supposed to be dine in only. However, we had a newborn baby and had just came home from the hospital. Still wanting to celebrate with a great meal, we contacted them and Matt arranged to let us pick up the meal! Mothers Day we packed up the baby to go in for another special they were running. Not realizing they closed earlier on Sundays, we walked in 5 minutes before 8 PM. When I mentioned we should go somewhere else, the host *insisted* that we stay and not feel rushed. He was incredibly attentive and really worked hard to make is feel welcome. We appreciated it so so much. We will always keep coming back!!

Good service, nice atmosphere, but the worst bbq sauce Ive ever had the chance of tasting on bbq. It ruined the meal. The burnt ends were 60% fat. Everyone who has rated this probably has never had real bbq from Texas, Memphis, Kansas City, etc. Only reason it gets 2 star over one is because the owner has good employees. But this is an impostering joint and they should be sued for imitating bbq. The meat seemed like it had flavor, but this Cincinnati style bbq and their Brady bbq sauce is an absolute joke. Might as well pair that with your Ohio style lobster, Alabama style pizza, New Mexico style Sushi and your Arizona style Irish food. Dont label something just because you are from there. Ohio is known for nothing bbq related. I walked in to this place with high hopes because of these reviews. SHAME ON ALL OF YOU AND YOUR 5 STARS!!! You all are sheep!! My next gripe is their mac and cheese. Ive never gone to a restaurant and ordered mac and cheese and received kraft elbow mac and cheese. They melt a little cheese and throw in some pork on top to throw you off but its below acceptable.

My husband and I were running errands today and drove by Porkopolis in Chandler. We had never been there and decided to give it a try. The service was excellent! Our server, Q, was friendly, quick with a smile, has a great personality and happily and expeditiously handled all of our requests. The food was delicious! We ordered burgers and fries. They burgers were cooked to perfection and it was obvious that the ingredients were fresh and high quality. The atmosphere is fun, friendly, casual and comfortable. My husband had an IPA and I had a glass of wine, generously poured. The bill was beyond reasonable at a little over $23.00. Porkopolis provides a great dining experience, which I highly recommend. That being said, there are two main reasons that will be back. Number one, the presentation, taste and thickness of the burger was excellent! Number two, we will go back and request to be served by Q again, because he was on it. He is a great server and he made the dining experience wonderful. Thanks, Vanessa PS: Good job Brady and company!
