I was impressed by the ambiance and decor, it seemed fitting. However, there wasnt a whole lot of tables inside which surprised me, but they have a select few outside as well as the bar top. My boyfriend and I sat at the bar top, the bartender wasnt very friendly but he got the job done. We had looked online and found out they had two for one margaritas on Thursdays. We went in on a Thursday and the server didnt once mention that special, if we wouldnt have looked online we wouldnt have known about it. The food was good, and the Margarita wasnt bad. I was going to go back with a friend for Margarita Monday, because they have $3 off margaritas but when we looked online and on maps the closing hours were different. When I called to confirm the closing time, the female who answered said the hours depend, and that they would probably close up around nine. I felt that was a bit weird, and misleading to not have a straight forward answer on what time your closing.

I felt really bad for this place. Came in Monday night for a bite. Initially only bartender was servicing the entire bar and restaurant. Took us quite a while to get drinks. No one asked if we wanted a menu. Finally a woman came out to ask how we were and got us menus. When we ordered she came back 2xs to verify what we had ordered. Had our drinks. Got our food and asked for water. Never came. Woman server (guessing manager) apologized and said that a bunch of their servers called out and they werent expecting a Monday rush. Understandable. I will check out this place again to see if its any different. But the first impression was not a good one.

Extremely disappointed with this place. Came here 4 months after they opened and had a great first experience for their taco tuesday. Great specials and great food. Was discouraged to find out they didnt sell their salsa on the side...... turns out things got worse. Me and my girlfriend decide to go back two weeks later and they completely destroyed taco Tuesday. No longer have the same specials and not nearly the atmosphere we had our first visit. Employees are awesome but this place wont last long in chandler, Az if their management keeps it up.

I was really excited to try a local tacos/tequila place in downtown Chandler. However, after my first (and only!) experience I will not be going back. The margaritas are listed as 12oz. on the menu, but in reality are only about 4-5 oz. If the price point was lowered, my rating would be higher. But for the price, it just doesnt hit the mark.

Food is underwhelming for the price, service is good. Big negative is the frozen margarita thats $9 and it lists fruit flavors you can choose. It doesnt indicate on the menu that they charge you an extra dollar for the margarita when you add fruit flavor. Not a huge deal but again not worth the price. Probably will not return...

Not impressed at all. Very disorganized when it comes to table service. My table wasnt greeted by anyone for 15-20 minutes. Then just to get a drink order in took just as long. The waitresses werent friendly or inviting. Very lack luster. Wouldnt go here based on the service or the mediocre margaritas.

I enjoyed an excellent night out with fellow business people of Chandler at the Modern Margarita. I enjoyed Appetizers with some queso dip and chips along with monster size tostadas on the menu that are phenomenal! The staff was tentative with my tea refills and they are very courteous and quick group.

The drinks are really good. Service could of been better. Nothing worse then a bartender/waiter who doest look at you at all during any kind of service needed. Friendly in the sense of yes he still took our order but not approachable.

Food options limited, seems to mostly be a tapas and wine/margaritas bar. To be fair, they had just opened when we went for lunch and they were still having wait staff/cook interviews while we ate.
