I wish I knew how this place got such good reviews, the food was way too salty and on top of that everything that was supposed to come out crunchy came out soggy... at least the chips and salsa were good enough to eat. Service was fast but not much better than the food and not even a batted eyelash when two full plates went back, untouched, or barely touched, much less any aquiring into why it went uneaten! I wont be wasting my money there ever again. Having served tables in the past I would never have taken a full plate back to the kitchen without question, I would have wanted to know what I could do to make their meal better and make sure they wanted to come back to the restaurant.

I have ate at Munoz Mexican Grill in Pinson ever since they opened. I have dined in and ordered take out. Several times my take out order has been missing items or prepared wrong so I prefer to dine in. It doesnt take long to be seated and your food to be served. The food is excellent. The waiters are very attentive to their customers and keep your drinks refilled. Above all the customer service is great!

Good portion sizes. But thats about it. Went during a week night and the service was mediocre at best. Husband and I ordered different items, but you could really tell as there really no flavor to any of it. The bean dip tasted best out of everything. But the prices arent bad considering. All in all Ive had Taco Bell that tasted better than what I ordered here.

I eat at Munoz in Trussville and Pinson regularly (2-3 times a week) and they never disappoint. Food is always excellent, huge portions, fast preparation, and staff has always been friendly. Regardless of how busy they are, there is rarely a long wait due to the efficiency of the service. Highly recommended Mexican food. Come hungry!

This place has really gone down over the last couple years. We used to come here all the time. Theyve raised their prices and give you less food and their "45 oz" margarita wont even fill up a water cup! Rip off! Wont be back.

Music way to load we ask twice for it to be turned down so we could hear ourselves talk to each other ..the women came back and turned it up very load .then looked and turned it back down ..food very good

Food is awesome. I can hardly eat at another mexican place because they dont come close to munoz. The Salsa is like none ive ever eat. We eat here at least 1 or 2 a week.

Good Mexican chain, one here in Pinson, a couple others in Trussville and nearby. On par with any Mexican chain restaurant. Good cheese dip, fast service.
