I have gone here for years and always had amazing service from a super friendly staff. Went in about 2 months ago with my family and the grandparents, (8 of us total)......they were somewhat busy, but have seen much worse. EVERYONE working that evening seemed mad at the world. Took forever to get our order taken (from a "rushed", short and abrupt waiter).... when we flagged someone down for more chips and salsa, they only brought us one, even though we had 3 baskets on our long table....when our food was brought out none of the sides or extras we ordered were with it, so when we asked, his "annoyance" was obvious. Upon returning with those items, my mothers husband asked for a lemonade, because the waiter hadnt bothered to ask anyone if they wanted beverages while taking our original order. You would think the request for lemonade, and the fact that he didnt bring out any other beverages would have made him realize his error and asked if anyone else wanted something. Nope. The request was made as he was walking away....he said "yes" and just kept walking. Plates of food were given to the wrong people, so we had to try to grab those hot plates to get the right meals to the right people..(he had already walked away by the time we realized the mistakes). Overall, the worst experience Ive ever had there. Since it WAS our first bad experience, I decided not to give a bad review...... BUT....returned today to take the kids out for lunch like I always do on their last day of school.....as we walked in, the bartender was just coming out of the bar. Since I knew she was the bartender, I just smiled and kept talking with the kids until the hostess came to seat us. Well after about 30 seconds, I realized she was just standing there staring at us like, "are you ready or what"....she actually never said a word, I could just tell by her body language that she was waiting to seat us. I asked for 3 adult and 3 childrens menus. (We got 3 adult menus and that was it. She never came back with childrens menus). After we were seated, and she brought us our waters, I asked for a drink from the bar....and once again got the obvious "annoyance". After waiting approx 20-30 min without seeing a single employee, I went looking for someone to take our order. At the front register was a couple who started laughing when they saw I was clearly looking for an employee. They said, "Yeah, we know how you feel, weve been standing here forever". It was right after that that some other guests saw me and informed me that other than the cook and busboy, the bartender was THE ONLY ONE WORKING, and that some other employees would be there soon. About 5-10 min. later someone finally showed up to take our order. I ordered a ground beef burrito, and about 4 bites into it, I realized it was shredded beef. After the wait wed just had, and the fact that I couldnt see the waiter anywhere, I just ate it. After our bill was put on the table, I finally just went to the front register after waiting another 15 min for the waiter to come retrieve it, (or appear at all). At the register, I brought up the error with my burrito....not only did I not get any kind of compensation, but I didnt even get a simple "Im sorry". Im not sure whats going on with this particular location, but I will definitely be driving the extra distance to go to "The Crossings" from now on. If its no better there...then I guess its Azteca!!

Ive been to other restaurants of this chain and they were great but this one was a shot and a miss! First we had a rude hostess who acted like we were taking up her time. The lady who took our order was very nice though but seemed new, but we figured everything would be good since weve had food from this chain before just not at this new location... but my husband had a bone(visible and dangerous) and we didnt even get a discount on his plate with that happening. The food was ehhh ok, my shirley temple tasted like apple juice for some reason. And it ended up being a pretty big bill with bad service, then the bone. I suggest somewhere else.

I love the port of air and here we end up with the same server every time we go he is able to answer questions he is friendly and hes handling such a large section, what is face permanently stuck in a smile. Im totally confused how this place can provide me with information about gluten-free options but I had across town to the one on Pacific Highway and I had to use The Interpreter feature on my phone to even explain what gluten was. Im so happy to have this place available especially when theyre so friendly and helpful. I literally couldnt ask for a better Mexican restaurant so close to home.

The sweetest and nicest family run Mexican restaurant in Federal Way. The food is perfect, with even freshly made flour tortillas, endless bowls of chips and salsa and Cadillac Margaritas to die for. We always come by Fridays after work and are seated within minutes. Tortilla soup is great, mole enchiladas have great flavor, and my favorite is the pork carnitas platter. Love it

The womens bathroom toilet was backed up with 2 stalls all over the floor! Right when I I walked in therebis water and toilet paper all over the floor. I told the manager and he was just like "ok". He didnt say anything like sorry about that. Also, we had to hunt someone down TWICE to get something for our table and we were the only customers there!

This place was packed on Saturday night, no parking available. I had a to go order that was done on time despite the crowd. Staff was friendly. Food was only ok though. The burrito I ordered was weak on filling. The rice was way overcooked and lacking flavor. The beans were lacking flavor as well.

The food is excellent and the atmosphere is very friendly! I had the steak fajitas and had more than enough for leftover seconds and thirds. The selection is amazingly delicious down to the guacamole. A definite yes if you are in the area and thinking about trying it out.

My family loves coming here for big gatherings. Ive neen here 10-15 times and neither my husband or I have ever liked our meal. We only continue to come because our large family plans it. Today my rice was gross, the chicken was dry, and my husband didnt like his salad.

This was our first time visiting the restaurant and we waited for 20 minutes and NO one served us. Servers walked past us and avoided eye contact but none had the decency to serve us. Way to make a "fantastic" first impression.
