I typically try to visit a restaurant more than once to establish a pattern of service and quality, whether it be good or bad, before writing a view that could potentially tarnish a business reputation. This location in Sandy/Draper off 11400 S. is absolutely terrible. There is no other way to put it. They are constantly out of items, not kidding. Every single time Ive been there they are out of at least two ingredients. Their customer service is seriously lacking, you can literally see in the employees faces and attitudes that they dont like their job. Imagine being served food at a high school by high school students that arent there by choice, and youll understand what their customer service is like. The restaurant whenever I go is dead, as in very few customers, and it still takes forever to get an order made and rung up. There are more employees in the wash room and back then are helping customers up front. This is truly a restaurant that deserves a 1 star review. I wont be back.

I really liked freebirds. I have been there a few times already and havent had a bad experience yet. It feels a lot like chiptole but I thought it tasted better and with more options to choose from. Each time I went I always got the freebird size steak burrito combo (drink + chips/brownie/cookie). Its pretty darn tasty and it really fills me up. You HAVE to try their brownie, its AMAZING!! One bite and I knew that I will have to have one every time i go back. With regards to service, i found the staff there friendly and helpful. First time through I didnt know how everything works and they took the time and explained everything to me and walk me through it. Unlike some places where they just look at you and expect you to already know what to say and how it all works. Lunch time is pretty busy but I felt the line went pretty quickly. I didnt feel like i was waiting for a long time. Overall, I would recommend this place to everybody.

I ADORE this restaurant. I worked there for years and adore everything about it. All of our ingredients are fresh & NEVER frozen (we dont even have a freezer, just fridge). We always have everything prepped daily (we make sure we have enough to last the day by comparing the year befores numbers for the day) which will also explain why we sometimes run out (we always have back-up unless its a large unexpected group like dance competition). We try to make the atmosphere very open-minded & fun (Freebirds was created by hippies). Everyone I worked with always had a great attitude & served with a smile (despite it always being busy). Overall just really great vibes all around. The management is amazing, hardworking, & will do everything to make your visit at Freebirds one & only

The employees are not trained at all and they have little customer service skills. I stood in line for 12 minutes with only 2 people in front of me and no one helped me. The one employee that was available decided to stock condiments instead of help me and then proceeded to talk to another employee that wasnt doing anything. I ended up walking out because I didnt have time to wait. Worst experience ever!!

My husband and I were hesitant because of the low reviews but decided to try it anyway. It was very good and fresh tasting. Chips and salsa were pretty good! The guy helping us was very friendly and helpful and let me sample some meat even to help me decide what I wanted. It seemed very slow. We were the only ones there. I hope it doesnt go out of business because we cant wait to go back!

I like the food at freebird but the Draper location has tried short changing me twice. The latest time it happened the guy said "the computer tries to do the math but..." basically implying his register cant do math. Righhhht. He didnt offer a receipt after all was said and done either... I got the correct change in the end and they werent rude or anything but I dont want to go back

I must say, I LOVE FREEBIRDS. As a Chipotle style burrito place, they are better than Chipotle. The guy that is there that helps us, I wish I remembered his name, but he is AWESOME. Great suggestions, the variety and options make all the difference. The guac is good, queso is good, I love the steak burritos, and their BBQ sauce is a nice twist to a delicious burrito too.

Enjoyed the options available to customize the burrito, but got up to the counter to pay and was told that the SOUR CREAM was $1.00 extra. Not Guac, but sour cream. Ridiculous and they would not do anything about the fact that I was not informed ahead of time about the cost. Burrito was average, good, but nothing special from Chipotle etc.

First time here and I was not impressed. Didnt find the friendly staff people seem to talk about. Food was pretty good for what it was. Found a bone in my meat while chomping down so that ruined the food for me. Wont be going here for quite awhile. Id rather go to Chipotle and have no almost chipped teeth

We didnt have the best experience. The chicken was burned and the rice was crunchy. They were also out of guacamole which wouldnt be bad, but all combined made me wonder why we spent our money here. I was disappointed because they had such good reviews!

Good food, unique feel. Same prices as similar burrito places, and personally if I were to spend another $10 on a burrito and drink Id rather invest in Café Rio or Chipotle as I found those a little more appetizing than this place.

Way overpriced. Rice was hard and the burrito didnt have much meat. The service might have been the worst part, I was asked what I ordered probably 7-8 times. And they didnt ring me up right to top it off. Never again.

Great food, kind staff. Recently charged for the wrong sized burrito so double check your charges. They took the tempeh off the menu, which is disappointing. But overall a great place to eat.

For those of you use to Costa Vida or Café Rio, Freebirds World Burrito provides a great change of scenery and let you express your creativity in new ways. Also, the brownies are awesome.

Build a burrito. Bit pricey. Super nice and helpful staff. You can see the building from the street but its tucked in the corner of the complex and hard to tell if theyre open

Burrito is awesome. Hope youre hungry. I love the two tacos meal. Come with chips and a drink. The salsa is really good. Veteran owned and I will definitely keep coming back.

I didnt think it was horrible. The best way to describe it for me was. "Okay". Ive only tried one item on the menu. Ill have to come back to give it a more accurate rating.

A burrito of average quality. I like getting the steak one with hot salsa and a little barbecue sauce. The brownies are the real star of the show here, though.
