I wish I could give this restaurant a NO STAR rating. Ive had Indian food from all over the world and everywhere I go but this has been not only the worst in taste but also service. Our waiter was extremely rude. He was rasict for one trying to speak to us in Spanish when we were speaking to him in perfect English because I dont even know Spanish, then he rolled his eyes when we asked for only water and didnt bring the water until 5 mins before our food came out. Our food not only came out late but after 3 family that had come in much after us. We ordered chicken curry and were brought lamb.. Okay? He didnt refill our water at all or correct the lamb mistake, only saying" sorry I think I brought you the lamb instead" and the chicken tiki masala tasted like tomato freaking soup, the rice was disgusting, the naan tasted like a fried tortilla and it just over all really suck. The food is obviously expensive because of the cuisine, but after eating here you cant even call this Indian food. We payed over $100 for the two of us and gave the waiter no tip for come on... You bright out the wrong dish AND didnt speak to us all night. Then he comes out of the restaurant yelling at us. Ive never in my life been treated so poorly and eaten so badly. This place is disgusting and based on the way they treated us all I can see is bad karma for them.

I love this place! Its charming and off the beaten path. Its an breakfast restaurant in the morning and an Indian restaurant for lunch and dinner. You really wont find something like that anywhere else. The breakfast is really good American with bacon, eggs and coffee, but if you want something a little different, they have vegetarian options and dishes with a touch of Indo-persian. Some days I get an omelette, other days Im feeling the lentils or veggie bake. My favorite time to dine is in the Summer with outdoor seating. I held a brunch there the morning after my wedding. Houman set up a beautiful space outside under the trees using sunshades and tables with beautiful Indian tablecloths and lights dangling overhead. It was the perfect Park City experience for my East Coast family and friends. The mimosas kept the roll going!! Lets move on to dinner....the Indian / Persian dishes are delicious. I recommend the sampler that comes with 3 curries so you dont have to settle on just one. Overall, Good Karma is a gem everyone should experience.

If this was just a breakfast spot it would get five stars but for dinner youre out of your mind to eat here. There are zillions of better spots in Park CIty to spend your money where you actually feel full when you leave. We paid $50 (for two) tonight for three tiny dishes and had to go home and have dinner afterward. When the owner came by and asked how everything was I swear I wanted to tell him he just fed us overpriced appetizers. The Cafe itself is cozy and off the beaten path so reservations are unnecessary. You have two choices if you eat here- leave hungry or pay through the nose for average tasting Indian food. Whats annoying is that the owners are completely unapologetic for bending you over. They smile when they tell you the single $8 veggie samosa appetizer is small and unshareable. The $17 Tikka came in a 6" tray with six tiny cubes of chicken breast and some sauce. IF you want Indian food make the drive to SLC and eat at the Himalayan Kitchen or House of Tibet.

I am a Park City local who eats out several times a week, and who loves curry but does NOT love Good Karma. I am consistently disappointed by the food at Good Karma- not only is it pricey, but the portions are small and the food is boring and bland. What Good Karma serves does not really pass for Indian food. I keep ordering from Good Karma once every few months thinking that maybe I just catch them on a bad day. Nope! I find their version of Navratan Korma especially offensive- it looks like vegetable potato salad with a few sliced almonds garnishing it. The "yellow curry" portion of the Korma being the mayonnaise of the potato salad. If you want REAL indian food, there are several fantastic restaurants down in SLC that are worth the drive!!

We are consistent local visitors of Good Karma. The breakfast is possibly the best in town. We have been to every breakfast place in town and it is by far our favorite and has only gotten better. The dinner is also good. In Park City unfortunately it is very expensive to operate a restaurant, so yes, they are "Park City prices" but its still great and highly recommended. It is a unique take on Indian and Persian dishes. If you want a stereotypical Indian meal then drive down to Bombay House 25 minutes down the freeway in SLC. If you want an interesting, well thought out version of Indian food that is great, dynamic, and engaging, then Good Karma is for you...

I asked Good Karma to cater our Sundance Film Festival party in 2014 on a recommendation from a friend. I had no idea what to expect, but they won me over. The delivery was on time, the food was amazing (guests did not stop asking who the caterer was throughout the party) and the price was very reasonable for the quality of the food and service. I was so pleased, Ive asked them to cater our party again in 2015!

Nice people, but if you are looking for either Persian or Indian food this is not the place. When we saw huevos rancheros on the menu, we should have know that it was time to leave. Getting a decent Indian or Persian cook cant be that difficult. Expensive, tasteless, unrecognizable food. If craving Indian, go to Burger King instead of Good Karma, not Indian either but it will save you a lot of money.

Outstanding boutique restaurant with kind of a middle-east - european fusion focus. if you go for breakfast, try the Eggs Benedict ... they have a middle eastern twist to it --- over the top good. They also have a nice out door seating area and it is hardly every crowded (probably because its set back out of sight ... because the food is great)!

Best place to get food in Park City, hands down. Make sure to call ahead and make a reservation. Staff was incredible, food was spectacular. Do not miss it. Order a delicious chai while you are there, and I highly recommend the veggie korma. Portions can be split if you are not overly hungry and want to share with a friend.

My wife, mother and I had a late lunch on Friday August 7th at your wonderful restaurant. The dishes were beautifully presented and were lovely. Also great wine pairings! Your service was excellent, friendly and it was nice to see the chef Gohary! Your restaurants name is truly deserved!!!! Thank you!!!

The menu items we ordered was supposed to be "Persian": "Jooje kebob" and "Sultani". Having eaten in numerous Persian restaurants in my life and being married to a Persian woman, we know that we DID NOT eat Persian food. Whatever it was, didnt taste good at all, also VERY VERY $$$$ for what we got.

Good Karma is a hidden culinary gem filled with the absolute freshest ingredients. Chef Houman is a unique talent whom is able to infuse a magnificent combo of Persian/Indian and American favorites.....having lived in PC for 2 years Good Karma quickly became a starter in my restaurant rotation.
