Wow. In all fairness, my first two choices for chinese in Corvallis did not deliver, so my options were limited. My order did arrive on time, but even though I was staying in a hotel, they did not include any utensils, napkins, plates...nothing to eat off of! I understand not including disposable utensils for every order, but do you think it makes sense for somebody staying in a hotel? Onto the food...no brown rice option available, although the girl on the phone said the fried rice is "kinda brown from soy sauce". The potstickers arrived super soggy and were overly doughey. The General Tso Chicken (ordered medium) did not have any of those hot red chili peppers. Worst of all was the Hot and Sour Soup which was not edible. It smelled like a sock! Even worse is that I tried tasting it (several times) to give it a shot and it *tasted* like a sock too! The only positive spin on this is that it was easy to not to over-eat and hence keep the pounds that accumulate with frequent travel at bay. If you have any other options for chinese in Corvallis I would suggest taking it.

I went here because its halfway between where I live and where I was going in the valley. I have already heard that my friend got food poisoning here, but decided to give it a shot anyways. The pork chow mein had strips of pork, Ive never had chow mein like that before. The noodles in the chow mein really reminded me of Ramen noodles. Tasted "cheap". The sweet and sour chicken was good. The pork fried rice was just ok. We ordered large sodas and they were served in "to-go" cups. My wife asked about the flavoring of the food and the waitress said that is the way the college students prefer it, and they try to cater to them. Ok... My son had the chicken with bell peppers and onions. I dont think the onions and bell peppers were cooked at all. I guess I just had different expectations from past experiences at other Chinese restaurants. I probably wont be back.

I have ate here four times, and all four times were extremely bad. The service is nice, but the food is very bad. I feel one star is reserved for the super bad, and this place...is super bad. The quality of the food has always been very low. My Shrimp was soft and mushy, which means its going bad, or is close to being bad. Our rice is almost white and hard, but its supposed to be fried rice. It had one speck of egg in it, and the rest was bare (Im not kidding, only one piece of something was in it). Our meals were uncooked, and somewhat raw. I give up, I really do. I will never go back here again. I keep giving them chances, and I get burned each time. They are going to refund us though, so thats good. One star, sorry guys, you need to fire your Chefs or youre going to go under.

After waiting 35 minutes for what I was told would be a 15 minute wait I was already in a sour mood. The food did not help. My schezuan beef dish was literally 50% onion and though I ordered spicy was not even close to being spicy. The vegetables were extremely undercooked in the chicken and vegetable entree...I like crisp and fresh...not raw. I imagine the food was healthier than your average american chinese take out...however this came at the expense of flavor and cooking. I was hoping to get some flavor out of the soy sauce at least...but this hope was dashed when I looked in the bag and found one package of soy sauce...for a 3 entree order. We wont be back. Ever. I would not waste your time or money.

Ive read some reviews here about greasy food at this restaurant. I dont know what these people expect if they order deep fried food, they will get deep fried grease. Those that found certain menu selections were unsatisfactory, should try some other selections before condemning the restaurant. If that selection is the only one they prefer than this restaurant doesnt need their business, there are enough patrons that will eat what they like. As for myself, I enjoyed the General Chicken, Chicken Chow Mein and Pork Fried Rice Combo. Nothing too greasy, service was amazingly FAST, and food was hot and very good! Hoorahh! for Blue Sky!

Its unfortunate that these nice people who own this restaurant might loose business because someone ordered a meal they didnt like. Personally I have eaten here several times and they always seem to be doing there best and are very nice to my family. I could go to any restaurant in this town and order something that missed the mark. But to be honest my wife and I have never had a bad meal here. If the owner is reading this I just want you to know were not all willing to harm your business if your cook has a bad night. My percentage of great food per visit is 100%.

My boyfriend and I frequently stop here to eat as to myself and friends. The service is great, the good is always hot and fresh and I never have to wait long, be it take out or eat in. The sizzling rice soup, crab rangu, steam buns and green bean chicken are all favorites of mine. My boyfriend always gets the egg rolls and said they are awesome too! The menu items are a lot fresher and made to order, and they have a nice twist on some items as well. I recommend this place to anyone I know who is new to the area!

Friendly staff. Kind of awful food. Ive tried so many dishes and have found nothing Id order again outside of crab rangoons.. which are almost always soggy. Kind of hard to mess up, but they manage. Noodle dishes are greasy. Chicken dishes are like chicken candy. Waaaayyyy too sweet. Nothing remotely healthy on the menu. The black mushrooms in the vegetable dishes are previously dried, which you can tell. Theyre hard in the center. Never going to order from here again. You have to be drunk just to eat it.

Wasnt too impressed. Food was cooked right and flavor was ok. Vegetables in the beef vegetable were kinda lame. Mostly broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower. I guess I was hoping for peapods or mushrooms or bamboo or chestnuts or baby corn. I also like when the portions are enough for two meals as many chinese lunches are. This one skimps a bit. The hot and sour soup was very excellent however and enough for me to come back and try a different dish. Maybe noodles will be better.

Avoid this place. We decided to try this place and have it delivered. Was told that it would arrive in 30 minutes. After calling our food arrived an hour and fifteen minutes after we called it in. At which point our food was only slightly warm and to top it off parts of our order were missing. We then called back and were told they couldnt send us the rest of our order without another hour wait. They refused to refund us our money. WE WERE RIPPED OFF!

This is my favorite Chinese place in the Corvallis area. They have an extensive Chinese specific menu (which my friends from China says is relatively authentic foods). I love the mandarin chicken and their fried rices are good. Not saying everything there is the best, but Ill go there time and time again. Service can be a little slow sometimes, but if youre looking for fast service, theres a burger king across the street...
