When we entered, there were a lot of people in the front, and we couldnt see the pricing. I asked the young man who sat us how much kids were. He said "3 and under is free." I have a 9 year old and a 3 year old. My 3 year old ate 2 pieces of broccoli and some icecream. When we got the bill, we were charged $8.99 for my 9 year old (prices arent listed at all for kids) and $4.99 for my 3 year old. I asked them why they charged me for my 3 year old and they said that 3 year olds are charged. After talking to 3 people, including the manager, and me refusing to pay for him because I was told otherwise, they made the young man who sat us pay the $5. It is the most despicable thing I have seen a restaurant manager do to an employee. I am so disgusted. My son ate next to nothing, and they should have just take it off the bill. Furthermore, the actual prices should be clearly marked. Because of the treatment of the employee, we will never be back. They lost out on $45 return visits over a bad $5 charge. Bad business if you ask me.

Tried to buy lunch as a birthday surprise for my father over the phone today, but that didnt happen at all because the employee I spoke with could barely understand me. AFTER I was hung up on once for asking to talk with a manager, I called again and dealt with more bad customer service. The woman on the phone -the same I had first spoken to- claimed she was the manager and had hung up on me because I wasnt saying anything to her. In reality, I asked to speak to a manager, waited a few moments and then realized I was hung up on by the restaurant employee. On top of that the woman wouldnt take my order, implied that I was paying with a stolen credit card and interrupted me to tend to customers in person. Bad business policy, worse customer service and left a bad taste in my mouth for this restaurant.

I really enjoy getting carry out for lunch. If you show up within 15 minutes or so after they open, though, a lot of dishes arent out yet. I dont know why- its not like they dont open at the same time every day. The chicken is usually good quality (few chewy/fatty pieces, like you sometimes get at "Chinese" restaurants.) Its unfortunate that they no longer allow you to take sushi in the carry out boxes (you have to pay a separate price now for a set number of pieces), but it is understandable. Before, you could theoretically fill up several boxes of sushi for a pretty low price, since they charge by the pound.

Great food, great atmosphere, and great staff. If you want to eat at a chinese buffet this is the place to go! If you demand "authentic" Chinese food hop a plane to China and quit being a prude. Koi pond, "American food" choices for kiddies and a great selection for the price. If you want perky happy, happy waitresses go to HOOTERS, if you want to eat for "cheap" go to McDonalds. The reviews Ive read are just down right mean and abusive. I come from a family of restaurateurs and Ive had Great and bad experiences at restaurants all over the country, but after the last 3 years Ive never had a bad one here.

This is by far the worst Chinese buffet Ive been to in Louisville. The service was fine, and the selection is to be praised. But what does it matter when every single thing is bad? I guess the Tsos was ok, and the Mongolian Grill palatable...but everything else was hard to finish even one serving of. Honestly, I left the place feeling sick. Not because it was dirty or anything, but just because everything left me with an unpleasant feeling because it was all just so bad. I told my friend that I went there and she replied with "Oh my god! Are you okay??" That says a lot. Never again.

This asks me to describe my experience but to do so would trigger a flash back to the horrible time that was jammed down my throat and began to destroy my stomach. When you first walk in you notice the severs they seem like they are prison or being held hostage, the food is dry and almost makes you gag upon fort tasting after a couple of bites you begun to regret ever hearing the name "jumbo buffet" Im not going to go on about this poor excuse for a buffet and just say DO NOT EAT HERE. If I could give it zero stars I would

Ugh... Just ugh. The food had been on the steam table too long, and it was the lunchtime rush. All of the meat had that rubbery texture that gives Asian buffets bad reputations about whether or not the chicken is chicken. The sushi was half-assed, almost as if the owners said, "The other buffets have sushi now, we should to. I have no idea what Im doing, but we will make sushi for the buffet." I dont know if there is such a thing as imitation-imitation crab, but if there is, this place uses it.

I have been eating here for about 10 yrs. now and have never gotten a bad meal. Everthing is great and tasty, well prepared and hot, The grill is very good the raw bar is fresh and thoroughly cooked the. sauces are flavor full. the main bars are well stocked with a good variety of food. Deserts are good too. They have different items for lunch and supper. They dont have crab legs or oysters But the do have shrimp and mussels. Now that the Eastern House has closed Ill be spending more time here.

husband and i went here on a whim. we were hungry, drove by and opted to try it...and so glad we did. the decor and fun water display with real turtles at the entrance was grand. such a nice touch. the buffet was fabulous....food wasnt sitting around drying out, and stocked very well. there was such a huge dumpling selection that weve all but decided to go back and taste them all. for us this was a huge hit and one of the best buffets of its kind in the city. well be back again! :0)

The server mumbled to herself a lot in Chinese. Made me think they were bashing customers or saying ignorant things behind our backs. She then hovered the table while I was paying just to see if I would tip. I didnt plan to because she was rude. Food was average. Prices are good. Btw, this place has gone downhill a little. Food and service was better a few years ago. I think they survive because of being close to the theatre. If I were them I wouldnt take that for granted.

I have gone here a gazillion times over the past couple years and it is awesome! Their are a lot of healthy options, grilled chicken dishes, fruits and vegetables, hibachi grill. A huge variety, HUGE! I love their plantains! I have gone to some buffets, walked out and came here, its highly enjoyable! one of their best dishes is the huge salmon and white fish! Oh not to mention stuffed mushrooms that i was blown away with. Their is definitely something for everyone!
