Mohawked Waiter is worst ever. I just logged on here to change my review for this restaurant from five stars to one star. I left my first review a little over a year ago; after a great dining experience at El Nopalito, I logged on here and left a glowing review. Well, forget it, because the Mohawked Waiter ("El Camerero con Mohawk" in Spanish) has ruined this restaurant. The guy takes forever, is rude, never asks for a refill for drinks (alcoholic or otherwise) and routinely just disappears. I needed some extra tortillas for the double order of fajitas my wife and I shared and I had to get up and literally go look for the guy. I found him in the far corner of the building talking with the other workers in Spanish and laughing up a storm. I told him what I wanted and he looked all angry about it and then brought out the tortillas...ONE of them! Then I had to tell him I wanted more for TWO people! He sullenly brought out another one. What a moron. Looking through these reviews, I see I am not the only one who has run into "El Camerero con Mohawk." I hope that the owners of this restaurant do a google search and find out about this jerk and fire him before he drives all of their formerly loyal customers away. I, for one, will not be back.

My wife and I ate here yesterday and the food was really good. No complaints about the service either, although it turns out our waitress was related to the owners somehow. So she would most likely be more professional. The issues I had with the restaurant were that the restroom was dull with no decor, although it did seem clean. And the fluorescent light flickered for several seconds before it finally came on. This can be a health issue for epileptics, such as my wife, as flickering lights can potentially trigger a seizure. In addition, the water served with my meal had an undesirable taste to it, even after squeezing a lime wedge into it. They really need to filter their water, and Im really surprised that a restaurant with such a longtime presence and high profile location, doesnt already. All in all, a positive experience. But El Nopalito can do better.

Terrible! 2nd worst Mexican place I have ever eaten at!! We went on a Friday night had to wait forever for our server to show up even though the place wasnt busy at all. We had to send my wifes food back because they got her order completely wrong and to top it all off they keep the microwave that they heat the cheese dip with in the lobby of the restaurant (I literally watched someones cheese dip get reheated as I was paying my check!!) And to top it all off we were both sick for the rest of the night and next morning. We will never go back

I am not sure why anyone is posting bad reviews. I go here at least once a week and various times of the day and night. My food is always cooked fresh, my margaritas are always just the right balance of sweet and sour with salt around the glass. The queso is great. The chicken soup is perfection with or without the rice. The prices are good as well. Yeah the restaurant is a little shabby, but who cares. The food is great always hot and always fresh!! If you are looking for a good mexican restaurant that will not break the budget comes here.

I have been eating at this establishment since they were a tiny little Mexican bistro just down the street. Their original location was small and they soon expanded into the store area that was vacated next door to that location. Throughout the renovations, they always maintained friendly service and great food. Now, in this newer location (previously Fuddruckers), they have continued with a friendly atmosphere and great food. Only noe they can seat even more people. Thumbs up! Keep up the good work, Los Arcos.

Went on a somewhat busy Friday night. There was one party of 20 people, a few other tables occupied, and that was it. the service was HORRIBLE! Took 30 minutes to put our order in; I had to complain to get someone to come by. Then it took another 30-40 minutes to get our food: Colorado Chili and Shrimp Diabla. The Chili meat was pretty overdone. The chips were also pretty soft. Manager did nothing to make it right -- no free desert, nothing. Been here before, and its been okay, Wont be returning.

If you like food right out of the microwave, then youll love this place. For some reason, I chose to overlook the microwave which was sitting near the entrance by the kitchen. Do I have anything good to say about this place you ask? The salsa is good, the chips are crisp, and the ice water is cold. Other than that, I couldnt find any other redeeming qualities. I hate to tell anyone to go to a chain instead, but do yourself a favor. Go across the street to "On The Border". Youll be much better off.

I went here on Sunday for lunch. And all the food tasted terrible, the waiter didnt know what he was talking about. And my rice had a long black hair in it. It was so disgusting. I dont even know how this crappy place is even still open. I will NEVER go there again. My fiancé spent $45.00 on hairy food that didnt even taste the least bit good! The chiefs in the kitchen werent even wearing hair nets!!!

Dont go in after 830 @ night if youre expecting fresh food or decent service. The rice was undercooked and crunchy, they would only bring what amounted to a handful of chips at a time, the cheese dip was like water and when we asked to speak to the manager he appeared completely bothered and brushed it off as us "just complaining".

One of the hands down best Mexican restaurants in the Kennesaw/Acworth area. Food is excellent, margaritas are amazing, and the front-house staff are always awesome. Almost a weekly tradition to visit this place. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for an excellent Mexican restaurant that isnt some sort of crappy corporate chain.

Kind people serving great food. I was never a fan of their fajitas, but literally everything else on the menu became an instant favorite. I always get my food very quickly (7-15 minutes after ordering) and the staff has always been positive and nice. Also the salsa here is the best Ive had.

Wonderful wait times, we were seated and served promptly, large menu had lots of things to choose from (as a vegetarian!) and was amazed by the quality and quantity of food, for such a low price. I have finally found a wonderful Mexican restaurant for me to regular!

Went for dinner, ordered something no on the menu, staff was very kind and attentive and the food was good. The price was also right. If you like Mexican food, are on Barrett pkwy, and dont want to pay mainstream/franchise-Mexican restaurant prices go here.

My wife and I have been going here for ten years. Service is nice, food is good, and its in a great location for an evening with the family. You can eat here and then head over to either Hobby Town USA or the Aquarium store next door.

Best Mexican food around by far! The restaurant is family run and they care about what happens here so they make sure service is always fantastic and food is always hot. I will always continue coming here after 15 years! Love it
