Not a very happy camper with black sheep. Today, I ordered a #14 (Big island hot ham & cheese) the menu online reads $7.00 without the side or $8.50 with a side, I ordered with a side of potato salad. Walked over to get my meal to find out they no longer carry potato salad (which I wasnt told when I ordered it), no big deal. Then as I am standing and waiting for my food, I am told they partnered with the brewery and had to raise the prices. I am expecting to still pay the $7 that shows on the online menu thinking that was the increase. I pay $8.00. I left with the sandwich in hand to go back to my office to confirm online shows $7.00, yes it does. This is false advertisement. I understand it is ONLY a dollar, its not the money, its the POINT. All pricing that is for the world to see is what should be honored. Finally, I opened my sandwich to eat it and only half of my sandwich had pineapple (the best part of the sandwich). I will not be returning to this place even if it is the only place nearby my office. The lady working was nice and talkative but still should have honored the pricing shown online even after I mentioned to her the pricing online shows different. Not good service and they dont care about the people.

The Salem Etsy Team hired Black Sheep Catering to bring in boxed lunches for vendors at our annual spring craft sale, and all I can say is that we were blown away by the high quality of both the food and the service! We had nothing but outstanding comments from the vendors who ordered lunch. When a mix-up occurred with 2 vendors lunches, they were very quick to respond and bring the correct lunches. The food was simply amazing- fresh, flavorful, and unique. As a team of local handcrafters and artisans in the Salem area, we make an effort to support small businesses and the "buy local" philosophy, and were very happy to find this catering company, which fit our needs perfectly. We would not hesitate to use their services again.

Had the pulled pork and it was DELICIOUS! The coleslaw was great, their three bbq sauces were good, the best being their house made one. It has kind of a black pepper kick with just enough sweetness. My friend had the Reuben and I stole of much of it as I could. If you like Reubens I would highly suggest theirs. And I can not even explain how good the Mac n Cheese is...like want to take it to bed good. The prices are really good for what you get and the staff are accommodating and friendly. I will be heading there again next time I am in town.

We used them for our company holiday party, and people could not stop talking about the food! The Black Sheep staff displayed the food beautifully, and each dish was more amazing than the last. Since then, I use them as often as I can. They are creative, flexible, and really care about making sure we have the best experience possible. They are my favorite caterer in the Salem area. Thank you so much for the amazing service!

Outstanding food and service. Three of us were on 6/22/17 at Santiam Brewery enjoying a few cold one and we ordered food. Food came fast and everything was tasty. One of my friends had a tender stomach and couldnt finish his food... Out of the blue, here comes the Black Sheep Café dude with a gift card to comp my friends meal. Talking about customer service!!! :)

I love this place. Everything we have ordered has been superb. My favorite is the Big Island sandwich but the wraps and salads are great. They are located a few doors down from Santiam Brewing Company and their food and a good brew makes for a perfect place to meet friends for a casual lunch or dinner. Nice folks who care.

Exceptional ingredients, average meal. I had a reuben and fries. The sandwich was more saurkraut and dressing, with a few unchopped hunks of brisket, that were cut the wrong way, made it stringy. Fries were ok, hand cut but undercooked, soggy. Good ingredients, mediocre execution, and somewhat overpriced.

I came in after a busy lunch rush near the end of their lunch hours, and received very good service and fresh food in just a few minutes. I had the chicken wrap and everything was tasty and did I mention fresh? Took a cookie home for the girlfriend and she loved it. Will be re-visiting and recommending.
