The modest location and reasonable prices at the Ainsworth Circle cafe are matched by very friendly staff and good food. The beef stew was particularly good. The owner will often walk through the dining area, and always asks everyone he passes if they are enjoying their food. He will immediately fix any problem however small, and do it with a smile. You can tell by the way they treat the customers and each other that the staff like working there. This is my go-to location for a business lunch or coffee meeting in this part of town. (This is for the Ainsworth Circle location, not the airport location. I havent eaten there.)

I had lunch at Capers Cafe today for the first time because it is very close to my job and I cant believe that I waited so long. The food there is fantastic, I had had a sandwich and a cup of homemade soup and both were ready quickly and were delicious. The decor was not amazing but certainly clean and with ample seating. The service was very good, a cute girl took my order and rang me up like any other deli and within seconds brought my food over to me at my table. I will be returning here for more many more lunches, Id say at least once a week!

If you want moldy food & to be ripped off... this is the place for you. They also have a restaurant in the airport and advertise the newest addition "Chez Joly" apparently the Joly family was kind enough to give Portland 3 places to satisfy our cravings for food poisoning! Does someone have to die before the health department will close them down?

Pretty corporate feel for the restaurant; not cozy or inviting. No fresh fruit or veg offered for sale. Sandwich selection is good. Not a place you love enough to go back again and again.
