Surprisingly fresh and delicious food with big portions are the norm here. The hot wings, nachos, burrito, and quesadilla are all A+ recommended. Usually a college hangout a la the nearby Columbia University, it remains a place where you can still become a "local." The roof-top bar is best during summer months when it is more open. Top tips: 1.) The Administrator cocktail (21+ only, folks) is absolutely worth the cost, 2.) Always order the hot "buffalo" wings, "wild"-aka-medium spicy (diet permitting); they have a magical disappearing act that must be tasted to be beheld and 3.) Halloween can be a bit crazy here, but is usually fun in one way or another. As usual, be respectful -- food service workers are great people doing rough jobs and a smile can go a long way.

I been coming here for a year every weekend. Sorry to say that they been through so much management n wait staff that this is no longer my to go place. This was my wings place. I useto travel from the Bronx all the all the way here for wings and margarita and in the past 2 months Ive been disappointed. The wings now come with feathers on them. Their service is poor. We asked to get our wings corrected n we waiting 20 minutes and nothing so we cancelled the order while people were still getting their food. Is just really sadning that we were starving. So we had to look for another place to go to.

This place really saved the day! When Le Monde messed up my lunch plans for Birthday celebration these guys were open and amazing! They have nice roof top dinning area. Food was amazing! Lunch specials for great price! The Coconut Shrimp tacos were beyond amazing! Great drinks. Or shots should you require some. Staff was fantastic from hostes, to waitress, bar tenders, and management. Delicious food! We will be going back! Apparently they have great weekend brunch deals as well!

It’s multilevel , but the rooftop is closed during the non summer months. Scene: Very cozy and casual rooftop bar. Open space and conducive to mixing and mingling. Good for get-togethers and date night. Crowd: 20-40s Mostly CU undergrad and grad students. Service: Good.

We love this place! Were on holiday in NYC staying in a Hotel in upper West side & stumbled across this place, what a great place for reasonable priced food & drink & great company. The 3/4 of a pint very strong frozen Margaritas are fantastic and especially during Happy Hour (4pm to 7pm) at $6 a time (as at 30th May 17) 2 are usually enough to make you H.A.P.P.Y.. You wont be disappointed!

Unauthorized Credit Card Charges. Good food; great rooftop, but who wants to dine where they have repeatedly charges your credit card more than you authorized? Happened to me TWICE. One time they over-charged me by $20! This is a systematic practice with them. If you do go, be extra careful to check your monthly statement. They will bilk you if they can.

Really chill bar on the UWS. Really good (aka strong) drinks and the nachos were really good. It was big and we shared with 4 people and it was plenty. I also had the lemonade and the morningside mule - both delicious. But be careful drinking more than one! Id definitely come back. Very relaxed atmosphere which is what I like about it.

The only good thing about this place is that it has a rooftop area. But you have to order dinner if you want to be on the rooftop, and the food is below mediocre. They promote their margaritas, but theyre not very good at all and decently expensive. Service was pretty slow, and it gets very crowded. Overall not a great place.

Very nice rooftop eating space, and a good relaxed atmosphere for a bar. The food was good, but didnt stand out as particularly unique. Solid fare. Service was a little slow, but given the layout this is probably understandable. The best part is easily the view, which of course is going to be weather dependent.

They make a mean burrito with a chipotle salsa that has the perfect amount of fire. This is also a great location to grab a drink before heading to other activities on the West Side. The space is crowded and the stairs up are a bit steep. They also have a great roof top area when the weather is nice.

Great food, great place to hang out with friends. I like hanging out on the roof top. The chicken wings are great. The food is pretty cheap. The margaritas are cheap too, It;s a fun spot to hang out with friends and family. Stop by if you every get the chance. I give this place two thumbs up.

Food is generally good, not as many options for vegetarians but that goes for many places. Their lunch menu/special is pretty great, under $10 for an entree and a drink. I had their fish and chips with mushy peas in my last visit and it was pretty good. Malt vinegar and all.

Ok is the perfect word to describe The Heights. Nothing about this place is either spectacular or terrible. The food is mediocre, the service is sufficient and the price is about right for what you get. There are better options nearby but you could also do a lot worse.

This place is a hidden Jem not only are there margaritas are awesome talk about a tall glass Margarita & the food was so delicious we has the pesto Chicken Pasta . We will definitely be coming back here especially knowing soon they will have a roof top lounge expansion .

Gets crowded and very hot upstairs; would be nice if the roof top was open instead of an enclosed area. The place is also kind of small, but the bartenders are friendly, the service is good, the food is tasty, and the margaritas are great!!

Great local spot. Good mix of regulars from the neighborhood and some younger professionals from Columbia. Great range of foods, bar is well stocked. This is a must stop if youre in the area and want a guaranteed good experience.

Not the worst bar on campus. The house frozen margs will get you pretty drunk for cheap (dont get a flavored one, they just add mixer). Cool location once youre inside, but fairly cramped.

Chicken tenders and the burritos are delicious. The frozen margaritas are really good. It was so hot on the roof that day. The staff didnt have the fan oscillate in our direction.
