I completely disagree with the previous review. The fish is always fresh and tasty, the presentation is awesome in your plate, and at least they dont try to do a fake Japanese decoration: it is rather modern and "lounge". OK it is more expensive than Obento Delight for instance, a street away, but it is so far better (and in bigger quantities as well) and the overall level is way superior. It is my favorite sushi place in UWS. Did I mention they do a lot of different things if you are tired of sushis? I live not far from it, and although I have the choice between many Asian restaurants, they have my preference.

Hadnt been there in a few years. Its deteriorated a lot, like most places in town. The lunch special was watery miso soup, standard salad with bottled dressing, and the pork chops, while tasty and quite big, were mostly gristle, fat and bone. Okay, it was $8, so you dont expect great food. You do expect decent food, or why serve it. The pad thai bore no resemblance to Thai pad thai, tasteless, seasonless. Another Chinese-run "Asian" restaurant. Its pathetic!

This restaurant is simply awful! Whoever thinks good about this restaurant is probably tricked by their location and seemingly Asian like atmosphere. When you really taste their food and experience their service, youll never want to go back there again. $100 omakase, all they brought out are an edamame, squid salad and bunch of low rate sushi. I recommend you never even think of going there. Lets not forget to mention the prices are so overrated.

The staff is really friendly and are happy to indulge the kids. The place is spotless, and stylish. Our kids love the sushi (which is saying a lot!) and the pad thai is perfect. We usually start with veggie dumplings, which melt in the mouth, and a very generous serving of edamame. Glad the neighborhood finally has such a classy place. Not to mention the bar downstairs - great atmospherics.

The owner of this restaurant mase a racist, anti semitic remark to my face while I was sitting in his restaurant because I asked for a substitution of shell-fish from the sashimi deluxe dish on their menu. Have a great time going there if you want to support a raging anti semite!!!!

No longer called AK, 710 West has changed its menus recently. No longer features sushi, focus is more on soul food and Thai. BUT they still have the sushi bar and sushi specials, and the best happy hour in the west 90s, 4$ wine/sake $6 cocktails till 9pm!

This is one of my favorite sushi places in the city. They taste really really good. Their lunch specials are amazing(I wish they brought back their weekend special though). Fresh sushi at reasonable prices....count me in!

Good food and service. Fresh sushi rolls. Has a couple TVs with sports and Food Network running. Would be great if they turned them off. Otherwise, a nice atmosphere and attentive service.
