Think "decent diner". Usually eat here when in the area (daytime), mostly because theres not much choice in area; and its perfect if you need to go to Mt Sinai (though imposingly crowded at lunch time for same reason). Decent pricing though not cheap for what is essentially diner food. The service is acceptable to strangers and very warm to regulars. The owners are always there. Very clean restrooms. Can and will work with you where possible regarding allergy and dietary needs. Make point of trying out all dishes on delivery: Ive twice had side dish served only slightly warm.

We came here for breakfast. The place is very calm and is spacious. The only cons was the service, the waitress didnt take our order until 15 minutes we had come. The food was okay, the homefries didnt have much flavor and the eggs were watery. Maybe Im being biased but I have tried the same dish at cheaper diners and have tasted 10xs better. But overall a good place. Will go again to try the burgers.

Service was subpar. Im guessing the big, angry, ugly guy that walks around the place is the boss? Not a very nice person. Im not sure whether he doesnt like gay people, place people, or latino people but he was not too happy about us eatung in his restaurant.

Horrible. They brought me my pancakes but I had to get up from the table and go ask another server for butter and syrup. Waitress was rude and incompetent. If it wasnt her first day, I hope it was her last. Pancakes were dry. Sausage was good.

Cozy place. Can feel as if youre being rushed but in reality you can stay as long as you like. They are cool with that so long as its not packed. Some menu items are a little pricey but the food doesnt disappoint.

One of the best pastas I had in NYC! Fast and friendly service with a real Italian accent :), the place is cozy and very clean. Very decent pricing for the amount of food you get and very tasteful dishes.
