Not how I expected fathers day to go. I was there with my family seated at my table for 3 hours, waited over 2 hours for crabs. Asked the waitress where the crabs were multiple times.. her response was "I dont know what to tell you". After the crabs came, the waitress no longer helped us. She messed up the drink order after I had to go to the machine to meet her there for the drink, she fixed the drink, gave me the drink and said.. "youre welcome". Paper towels, knifes, drinks, dumping the crab bucket, had to get up and do all of that ourselves. Check, had to go get that ourselves too. No sorry and no apology. Tried talking to the manager, that didnt help. She witnessed me getting up doing all of the waitresses responsibilities for a full hour, she didnt do a thing about it. After it was all said and done, we still tipped her $10 on a $42 check. Family has been coming here since the 1970s, wont be back. Unfortunately for me, the lowest option is giving them 1 star. Worst dining experience in my life.

I hesitate to give this place even three stars, but the rating is for the steamed crabs, which are truly excellent. However, any positive comments stop there. The other food items that I have ordered when I was foolish enough to eat there, were mediocre, at best. The quality of the ingredients is akin to that of a soup kitchen, and I am not even sure Id insult the soup kitchen by such a comparison. The servers, in general, are rude and act as if they could not be bothered. There are a couple of exceptions, but if you go and expect to be greeted with a smile, you had better think twice. Just a fair warning from someone who loves good food and appreciates not only fine dining, but also small, local places that should be the cornerstones of the community. However, Bayside is NOT one of those places, at least not in my humble opinion (or the opinion of many of my neighbors).

Worst customer service ever. waited 2 hours for crabs. people who got here 30 minutes after us got their 2 dozens of crabs. Waitress kept saying " i dont know what happened " took it to the manager Lisa who was rude and no help. after a 2 hours and 25 minutes of waiting and constant complains finally got our 1 dozen of crabs. To top it all off, my husban had to go to the bar and get everyones drinks refilled and had to go back and forth to empty the bucket of crabs because our waitress never came back nor did any other waitress in this restaurant. No one came to check on us we had to get everything ourselves. Not once did we get an apology from neither the manager or our waitress, yet she had a lot to say to her co workers about us. very disappointed...

Extremely over priced for the food they serve. You expect fresh tasty seafood and its just bland and tasteless. The cream of crab tasted of a bowl of buttery thickened cream with small shreds of crab here and there and no seasoning whatsoever. The crab dip was much of the same, more cheese than crab. The fried oysters seemed like pre-breaded and frozen from a box. The shrimp were cooked perfectly but definitely not worth their price tag.

Best crabs I had in years, fat and heavy, just like Maryland crabs should be. The cream of crab soup is great and comes to the table pipeing hot. Try the onion rings, homemade and comes with a great dipping sauce. Will hate to see the crab season end as they have only Maryland crabs when they are in season around here.

Great happy hour! Nice stiff cocktails at a reasonable price. Try the homemade beer battered onion rings before they run out of them, which happens quite often. If you just want a good place to have a quick, quality dinner, at a decent price, and not a lot of tourists, this is the place for you!..

Kind of a whole in the wall, but their food is on point. They have a mean crabcake and their steamed crabs are always great. Prices on crabs are comparable to the area but usually a little higher than some other places around. Definitely worth checking out though!
