I was passing through on my 50 State tour for suicide prevention (#TacoQuest50) & needed WiFi and power. Im so glad I found this place instead of seeking out a Starbucks. Large but comfy place. Typical selections of coffees, espresso, & tea drinks with a few pastries. Theres also a deli in the back but was closed when I was there. Great service & ambiance. It felt like the Cheers bar. The barista knew a lot of the people coming & going, and still made me feel like a regular.

Saints Rest is my single favorite establishment in Grinnell. The muffins are always a pleasure and fresh, and the coffees are good-- this isnt a "just enough" kind of place. Ive always loved the atmosphere here. Its good for work or just relaxing with friends, or mingling with people you dont see often. The owner is also very friendly and the place works to fix things gone wrong. Small bathrooms in the back are clean but sometimes tough to get to.

Coffee and muffin were good. Vibe is very hippy and it puts the "liberal" into liberal arts. Expect the clientele to be young girls who apparently dont bathe often, have rich parents and are clueless about the real world. But hey, the coffee is good.

Just disappointing. Disappointment flows through the experience from service quality and politeness to order accuracy. A rare instance where I just wish there were a Starbucks instead. About ten years ago this wouldnt have been the case.
