I had the pleasure to work in the area and was introduced to the Springbrook Deli by a coworker. The portions are remarkable and reminded me of NYC delis I grew up around. The hero I had was a buffalo chicken and swiss cheese..they use boars head brand deli meat and believe me it had at least 12 oz of meat. By the time it was finished..it weighed about a full pound. It took me 2 days to finish it. They also have a great all day breakfast menu and full selection of sodas and about 30 varieties of chips. They also sell those huge kosher pickles..OMG..this alone weighed about a pound. This is a well hidden secret in the orange area...it is located in the small Springbrook mall (far left side) adjacent to the Christmas tree plaza on Indian River road. They accept all major credit cards..a bit pricey but the sandwiches are well worth the money. I fully recommend this place..it beats the fast food sub shops like subway and blimpies hands down!

I travel all over and whenever Im in New Haven county I wait to hit Springbrook. The food is top notch. The quality of the meats are second to none. The portions are larger than youd expect. All the food is made to order and very fresh Very Clean place and the staff is warm and accommodating and fast service!! WELL worth the trip from anywhere.

I just watched a lady make sandwiches and subs without gloves. The lady next to her had gloves. Isnt wearing gloves a common sense hygiene thing? My sub was made by the lady with gloves but i would have requested a refund if she was using her nasty bare hands. How hard is it to put on gloves!?

My office(The Eye Care Group) just moved to the next building over and we love their food. I havent had any issues and always good service at this very very busy deli. Try the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. You wont be disappointed.
