Locale che mi è sembrato poco turistico e anche per questo lho gradito in maniera particolare. Il vero stie americano!! Cibo molto molto buono e personale gentilissimo anche se forse un po distratto (ma cera veramente tanta gente, quindi si può capire). Le patatine fritte...le migliori mai mangiate in tutta la mia vita. Lambiente in tutto il paese poi è veramente fantastico!

Waited over 30 min for a table, when you could clearly see there were several tables open. Not once in that time did any wait staff come to explain or apologize for the wait . Once seated, waited another 15 for menus. Not once was my family offered a drink refill. Had to get up and ask for napkins and when I did the server did not apologize for not checking on us, she literally said nothing to me . Not once were we asked how our food was or needed anything else, as we watched our server stand in the back talking and not doing anything. Horrible experience.

The service was good and so was my food. One grandchild was brought the wrong order but they remedied it quickly. HOWEVER, Six buck, on the childrens menu, for a bowl of KRAFT mac n cheese with a few orange slices, was very disappointing. When my grand daughter didnt eat more than one bite the waitress commented, "but its Kraft", to which I replied, "Yes thats the problem, she likes real mac n cheese."

This is one of the best places to grub and get a beer. Seriously real food with great flavor. My Lodge burger came with two big pieces of thick cut bacon who does that The Rock does. If you are traveling in the Tuolumne county area this is a must stop for lunch or dinner. The staff is awesome, attentive just enough but not hovering and quick to get you a refill.

Hostess was borderline rude to accommodate our party of 7. Ordered the tritip an soup, tri tip was cold and brown like it had been sitting out for hours and had no smoke ring when the menu stated it was smoked, would have sent it back if I hadnt been starving. Would not recommend. Although the live music next door created a nice atmosphere

Whether youve just come back from a relaxing day at Pinecrest or on the road, the rock is a great small restaurant nestled back in Twain Harte. Offering great food and patio seating gives a great atmosphere. Friendly staff may seem slow if youre itching to get on the road but this place is meant for relaxation.

Do some lines on the bar at Ed... hit on some skanks and dance to Lynrd Skynrd on the juke juke... kill the bottle o jack and then head over to the Rock to check out some classy Tuolumnites!!! WhaaaahOOOO!!! Rock it in the mighty TH!!!

Atmosphere was neat and appealing. Service was good but not exceptional. Food was tasty and well prepared, especially the garlic fries. Beer list is better than average. Price seemed a bit high to me but Im not from California.

Amazing cilantro lime salad dressing on fresh greens and beans salad. Lonestar burger with homemade BBQ sauce was out of this world. French dip sandwich and onion rings was yummy. Good place to take the kids!

It has been years since my last visit to this restaurant. The food exceeded my expectations! Im already craving to go back! Both my husband and I enjoyed our meals and they a good selection of beer and wine.

This is in a small tourists town that is generally filled with people on the weekends, holidays and summer time. With that said it can get busy. Good burgers, wine, beer and dinner choices to choose from.
