Prime dinner hour and busy. A table for 4 seated just ahead of us were collecting their to-go containers before we had any food. Had read reviews of the "baked emberz" starter, so asked what that was? Baked cheese in a skillet with olive tamponade and sour dough bread. Well start with that! Never arrived. Ordered mushroom risotto. "Would you like it with chicken?" Yes! -- No chicken in the dish and the dish itself was bland. Ordered Flank steak special, medium-rare. Came medium. (even the receipt tag listed "med") Cheese pizza looked fabulous with chunks of fresh mozarella. The kids liked it, but the crust was underbaked and doughy. The only saving grace was that we werent charged for the starter or chicken addon or even the soda.

The food is on par with the other restaurants in the area, the price is a bit higher but overall the food is decent. However, the service at this restaurant is pretty embarrassing. Ive been several times and I think they have an unspoken rule to only visit a table twice, to take your order/serve the food and to give you your check. I could handle that, but then I received Sarah as a waitress. By far the worst dining experience Ive had, and Emberz has definitely lost several customers because of it. Its a shame because theres certain items at this place that are pretty unique. If you decide to go, I hope you receive a better waitress than I did.

Their wood fire food is great. Staff is friendly and cute. I had a few beers with sizzling garlic shrimp, very good. Owner showed herself offering a free test burger which look amazing. I think it had deep fried jalapeño mozzarella patty on a 1/4 lb of burger with onion straws. If I only hadnt of ate.....just moved here and will definitely come again.

Travis the bartender was incredibly friendly but ultimately there was a bug in our calamari, they brought a new one out but nothing was comped despite the bug issue and we waited for a table for 2 for over 30 minutes as people just walked in and were immediately seated

Food was fantastic. Service excellent. Definitely a must stop go to place if your in the area or driving through. I plan on coming back and even driving the 2 hours it take to get there. I will plan on coming to dine again.

We figured if it was in the name, we had to order the wood-fired pizza. They did a good job getting the wood roasted flavor into the dough and serving a delicious pizza, The decor is modern and stylish. A good option.
