30 June 2017: Shalom lic ku lam. The first time I ate in this Israeli restaurant {ha mis ha dah Israeli} in the city of Tarzana several months ago, I fell in Love with the entire Israel staff of Employees there. Some people say that Israeli Jews are a bit rude and arrogant, but I did Not get there here. I am Not from Israel and I am not even Jewish except in my heart, but I Love Israel and the Hebrew language in my heart and I speak basic kitzat Ivrit. Ani ohev Israel ve gam ani ohev Ivrit. Israeli Jews are always surprised to see me. I was the only African Black American man there speaking in Ivrit with them as everyone else was Israeli speaking in Hebrew and that is what I like about this restaurant. I use to eat at Itzak HaGadol, the food is good, but there arent any Israeli speaking Jews there anymore, so I stopped eating there for that reason. I am going to my beloved Israel this year and I want to talk to as many Israeli Jewish people as possible. I do Not need to practice my English. I met one of the nice owners, a cute Israeli woman, {Kha moodah Israeli} name, Irit B. There is another younger and tall, black hair, pretty waitress (mel zareet Israeli yafa). She sort of look like Israeli actress, Gal Gadol or even more beautiful {yafa meod} Israeli actress, Moran Atias. There is also another really cute Israeli woman too. But my point here is the food is Ta eem meod. Ha ohel ma mash tov. Kabob and Israeli salad and Lechem lafa are my favorites. One of the things I like is that they are open on Saturdays too, but I respect the Jewish restaurants closed on Saturdays because Elohim/Adonai G-D is the most important in life. I live three [3] hours away, but I have eaten here four times. I have brought my family there and two other times, friends of mine there and they all really like Israel Hummus restaurant. My other favorite Israeli restaurants are Tel Aviv {Burbank}, Natanya {Burbank} and Jerusalem Grill {Las Vegas}. Elohim Yeverech Israel. La heet ra ot.

One of my most loved spots to eat in Los Angeles opened another area in Valley! There is something about this Israeli quick easygoing that is so consoling each time I eat it. All that I have requested has tasted stunning. Possibly begin with a plate of chicken schwarma then pick your sides. You can pick the pita sandwich choice where you can pick your fillings including hummus. Youll see that everything looks crisp with their splendid hues. My top choices and absolute necessities is the laffa bread, eggplant, and French fries. When you return (and you will), get the Jerusalem mix or the schnitzel (breaded chicken).

My first time here at the end of January. Everything was just wonderful. Our waiter was fun and accommodating (wish I remembered his name). It was a crazy, busy Saturday night. Noisy, friendly, fun and Ive never seen so much food; it all tasted awesome. Im a picky foodie, so Im not impressed easily. I lived in LA for 40 years and am now in Oregon. I visit LA often and cant wait for my next visit so I can come back and bring more family and friends. Next visit in April; Im salivating already! :-)

I love this place, too bad its very far from where I reside. My friend asked if I liked Middle Eastern food, prior to this I had never tried it. We started off with ordering the mushroom hummus, it was AMAZING. They also gave us a huge stack of bread to go along with it. We ordered beef Kabobs and had Israeli salad on the side. I loved everything!! We couldnt finish everything we ordered, because it was very filling. The pricing is moderate. Definitely worth it though!

You can tell this place is good when you see the crowd waiting for a table. I walked in and was welcomed on my table with side dishes and their warm bread waiting. You cannot eat there and not get their hummus. For the two of us, we had the hummus and falafel plate (which were the best falafels in my life!) and we were so full because they keep giving you more bread! The staff was extremely friendly. The whole experiecnce was awesome!

Being Israeli myself, finding this place made my moving here so much less stressful. I know, its only food, but half the stuff on the menu is the kind of food I grew up on. Its all SUPER delicious, the staff is direct without being rude (although non-Israelis might consider them rude regardless). Anyway, this is where I go whenever I feel a bit down and wanna fill up on a lot of amazing food for relatively low cost.

Horrible, worst management ever. "The customers always right" has no meaning here. I asked to speak to a manager and spoke to a very under qualified employee "The Manager" she acted like she was going me a favor taking my order. Dont recommend this place to anyone spend your money somewhere that will appreciated it. By the way Im Israeli and loved this place for years...... Shame.

This place has the best Israeli food in LA. Absolutely amazing and always tons of it. Their hummus is delic and the bread they give you with it is what I keep going back for. Make sure to check the schedule for Jewish holidays as this place is run by them and they sometimes close or follow certain traditions like no bread during the Passover. Something I found out the hard way. <3

Laffa + hummus + mushrooms are INSANE. Im literally sitting in another state dreaming of eating their food and decided to write a review after looking longingly at their menu for five minutes. By far the best Israeli style food Ive ever had. Arrive starving. They will continuously bring you fresh hot laffa and its damn near impossible to refuse it. EAT EVERYTHING.

Excellent wide variety of Mediterranean/Lebanese/Israeli food with fresh baked bread, instead of pita. A little bit on the pricey side, average size servings, but excellent service. The large bowl of Baba Ghanouj was a good size at a reasonable price with hot fresh baked flat bread right out of the oven that you can watch them bake. Modern upbeat atmosphere.

The all you can eat salad option is amazing. Its not your normal salad in the western sense but its more like a bunch of small plates that are all refillable and comes with lots of unlimited bread. My favorite is definitely a chicken liver spread, Its a rich and creamy and meaty and theres none of that irony taste its usually associated with the liver.

We had a party of 6 and came here for the USC UCLA game and it was an awesome experience! They seated us quickly, we had tasty food, great happy hour drinks, and the service was fast and friendly. The crowd was fun and loud for the game and the ambiance and natural lighting was a good change from the regular dark bars. I recommend for game days!

Its the closest food Ive tasted to resemble what I ate in Israel a couple years ago. The food is so refreshing, I easily get full but never feel bloated. The laffa is amazing, they have a guy that cooks it all day long so it is always warm and fresh. The variety of hummuses are all really good. Great food, especially in the summer time.
